We went for a nice meal last night and Jess made the evening very special by looking after us and our dogs! Top marks for customer service Jess, we will be back to see you again soon! 👍🏻🐾

We visited today with family and found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. Lovely Sunday roast which was huge, good service, good prices and best of all we could take our dog who is always well behaved! �

Had our wedding reception here and have to give credit to Michelle and Rosie for doing there best and making our day run smoothly, food was lovely, followed with a good buffet and very nice staff �

Great location, lovely staff, amazing food and a tonne of wonderful dogs (I know you have no control over this but it's a definitive plus).



Definitely worth a visit, a true gem hidden in Danson park.

Friendly staff and service was excellent- food tasty. I love the place. The pub is lovely and pets are also welcome and a positive experience.

Food was great, highly recommend the Lamb Shank & Wagyu burger! Service was good . The guy with the ‘tache & shiny head was top notch! Nice beer garden for a summer drink. Will be back!

Was a lovely meal, couldn’t fault the food! Except one particular person that worked there, she had a face like a smacked arse was rude to my dad and my boyfriend. She shouted for someone’s cab... across the room then told us off for laughing! God forbid we had a laugh with the family on Mother’s Day! Apart from her we had a lovely time. (For anyone that wants to no) she had bright green hair and she’s the one that don’t smile �

Poor food. Run down and in need of a makeover. Disappointed. Also having to pay £2.50 to get into the park is a bit of a cheek if you only wanted to visit the restaurant. So basically £2.50 car parking charge to go into the pub.

It's a shame because this place looks so beautiful and staff is really nice, however the hygiene is extremely poor. Toilets are disgusting, rubbish is everywhere... Disappointing ��

Haven't been there in nearly a year now ! Given up on the place ! Always short staffed and forever running out of certain beers and wine !...... Food ? Don't bother it's always cold ! Beautiful looking pub in a stunning location but badly run !

Good and bad. The good: Nice venue, big car park with plenty of open space including swings close by. Roomy inside, quaint and does some local beer. The in between, they allow dogs (depends what side of the "fence" you sit on. Not my idea of fun though. The bad, a lack of staff who are either quite good or not that interested. Food is okay it won't kill you but is inconsistent. Last time I was in there the tables were all dirty. No one appears in control really and it's quite a shame as could be a gold mine. There are better places locally.

Such a shame this place is so badly managed, they need to double their staffing levels. There is so much potential in this place, really needs a deep clean.

Poor service poor food not much more to say have been a number if times now on the hope it was just a bad day!! No just poor service poor food and porely managed the place should be a goldmine , the trouble being you cant mine gold in a hole full of quartz ! Shame

I’ve been on a few occasions over the last few years, food is really hit and miss, and tends to turn up warm. Staff seem unhappy to serve the public (although it’s there job!) I wouldn’t recommend it.

I'd rather eat shit from the dogs they allow in,looks decent had some wedding going on with load of Bosnians all crowding round the bar that couldn't string a word of English between them, the reception was next door but they all piled into the main bar, could be a lot better no sky sports on tv haven't got a remote apparently shit gaff

I ordered the jerk chicken skewers and recieved 2 completely raw pieces of chicken cooked for what looked like 60 seconds the outside was white but completely pink inside all the way through coverd in jerk sauce, i had 3 bites of this and realised, i then complained and the manager took it and apologised and put it in the bin before i could take a picture, the manager then offered me me free meal which i refused as i was no longer hungry after eating raw chicken, he then refunded the £5.

Crap never again ! My dad was gutted food horrible didn’t cater to what I asked after what I paid felt like I was at a harvester �� 300 quid minus 30 quid which they basically gave us back not the 65 coz still had to pay for our drinks after waiting well over our time and us having to pay more on our cab because they was so over due stress free nope would rather be at home than here

Absolutely awful- so bad we left prior to ordering. First you have to walk through all the smokers to get into the place, when we entered three staff poodled around for a good 5 minutes plus before we were acknowledged. There is no reception desk and no signage to guide you. Once seated I eventually managed to peel my hand off the table that was so sticky it could have stuck to wall, to open a tatty, torn menu. When a member of staff eventually appeared we were told we have to order at the bar and couldn't have an order taken at the table. We left and went elsewhere.

Crying shame, this has massive potential but I would not return, not would I recommend it.
