Dappledown House Nursery School

The babies have loved exploring the play dough this week. We decided to keep with the 'Incy Wincy spider' theme, so the play dough was black and the babies used pipe cleaners as the spider legs. This activity offered a great sensory experience for the babies as they would pull the play dough apart, poke it, roll it and squeeze it. They also enjoyed making marks in the flour with their fingers!

This week in the baby room our theme is 'Incy Wincy Spider'. The babies have had lots of fun creating their own decorations for the room making it look very spooky.
Today the babies have explored some gloopy, green jelly and spiders. This allowed them to use their senses as they played. Some of the babies liked holding the jelly and squeezing it through their fingers, others liked smelling it and then some babies even had a taste!

My little boy loves this nursery. All the ladies are great & very friendly. The nursery is always coming up with new & exciting activities to keep the children interested in learning & development new skills.
