We are almost fully booked for the next couple of months as we only have 5 peaceful adult only pitches and 2 acres of ancient onsite woodland for our lovely pooch visitors.

If you love a vintage fair, there is a fabulous event taking place at a lovely quirky venue a short drive from Dapplewood on the 5th and 6th May Bank holiday weekend.
I visit this particular vintage fair every year as it has a really beautiful mix of antique items and handmade curiosities in a vintage style.
Stop off on the way back to the site at 10 Castle Street in Cranborne to take in the stunning gardens and beautiful décor of this Georgian mansion, now a discreet luxury hotel and then nip into the Cranborne Garden Centre in the tiny village for the best cake in Dorset!

Dapplewood was in full bloom this Easter weekend and the bluebell wood is just lovely.
With 2 acres to wander through with your dogs and the peaceful surrounding rural countryside, it's an adult only, small haven for our lovely visitors seeking a 'getaway from it all' short break.
Just 20 minutes from the stunning Dorset coast and 10 minutes from The New Forest we have 5 pitches all with hook up and waste disposal as well as free wifi and a fabulous dog friendly village pub.

It is a glorious day here at Dapplewood in Dorset our 5 pitch adult only open all year site where we welcome as many dogs as you like and 2 acres of on site woodland for them to enjoy.
The forecast is fantastic and we have a couple of pitches free this weekend if you want to take advantage of the beautiful weather and see some of the interesting places to visit within a 20 minute drive of the site including the New Forest National Park.
We have the stunning National Trust's K...ingston Lacey on our doorstep amongst many incredible stately homes in Dorset or take a short drive to the stunning Jurassic Coast to blow the cobwebs away.
The lovely market town of Wimborne is a 5 minute drive away and has quirky shops and many restaurants to enjoy or simply relax on site and wander up to the village pub The Old Inn at Holt for delicious home cooked food and the sunset views.

What a stunning winter sunset last night at Dapplewood. I was running around trying to find my camera to catch it before it disappeared but these phone snaps just about captured the beauty of it.

For the perfect peaceful getaway in Dorset visit our adult only, 5 pitch site near Wimborne.
Dogs are welcome and our on site 2 acre woodland is perfect for early morning walks.
The local village pub serves excellent freshly cooked food and is a wander across the local farmer's field and we have two cosmopolitan, interesting market towns on the doorstep at Wimborne and Ringwood, just 2 minutes from The New Forest.
