We have listened and contemplated on your feedback during the last three successful months since starting Darbar restaurant. We have now launched a newly revised menu for you to enjoy as dine-in or simply take away.
We look forward to welcoming you all anytime and continue providing a balance of old favourites and some new incredible and traditional Indian cuisine, that will dazzle your sense of taste, sight & smell. All our food is freshly prepared by our team of experienced... Indian chefs. There is always enough choice of dishes for those who are vegetarian, vegan or have food allergies.

Darbar - Authentic Indian restaurant in the heart of Emsworth, Hampshire

Went here for my husbands birthday meal Friday evening. Food was amazing service lovely. The owner was very helpful with food selections as not the normal indian meal. We will be returning as the best indian meal ever had.

We've had a meal in and a takeaway here in the last month and the food and service was superb! The food was a bit more expensive than other Indian restaurants we have visited, but the extra spend was worth it for the quality of food. Very helpful with catering for a nut allergy too. Excellent addition to Emsworth - we'll be returning again soon. Thank you!

We have just had the best meal at darbar, my husband tim and friend Marian Coles booked to try out and were very pleasantly surprised, the service is fantastic and the food was beyond.

This is no ordinary curry house, if your looking for a korma or madras, this is not the place for you! A warm welcome, and great service! Very busy Saturday night you couldn’t fault anything! Table for 4 we all enjoyed our meals, with a wide selection of choice. Amazing starter Kashmiri duck of kebab with lovely fresh salad, followed by slow cooked Indian spiced lamb shank! Great rice and sides! Highly recommend looking forward to going back and trying something else!

Just had a fabulous meal for my husband’s birthday - food was fantastic and the team were very friendly and attentive. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for a more authentic meal and friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to going back again soon

Impeccable service, incredible food and incredibly hospitable to vegans. Would 100% recommend.

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday, there were 10 of us and the food was really nice, it all came out together and was hot. The air conditioning was great. Couldn’t fault the service, friendliness and will visit again.

Had a beautiful lunch here yesterday with a friend as a birthday treat.

The food was excellent and very different from the average Indian restaurant. It was very well presented and tasty too.

The staff were very attentive. Decor was extremely fresh and clean with the whitest of tablecloths. On learning it was my birthday we were presented with a glass of bubbly and to end a chorus of Happy Birthday from Chef and waiters complete with a wedge of chocolate gateau complete with candle. All in all a wonderful experience, cannot wait to return Thank you.

Just dropped in and picked up Masala Dosi (Thosi or Dosi Masala to my Penang friends) from Darbar and it was pretty authentic to what I had in Penang. I would even say it surpassed it! Yum. I shall be back for more! ... Very soon!

Great food, lovely venue and feeling. Would’ve been 5* if three waiters hadn’t descended on the table to clear the table while one of us was still eating. Other than that friendly and attentive. A memorable meal.

Bland tasting chicken Dhansak , dry coconut nan bread and insipid Chutneys . .. No alcohol drunk and a £58 tab at the end for two persons ..

Nice looking venue though ..
