Darrel Mayhead Guitar Tuition

I'm based in Brightlingsea, Colchester and charge £25 for an hour or £15 for half hour. I teach styles including jazz, funk, rock, latin, folk and pop.

I am a freelance musician and guitar tutor based in Brightlingsea, Colchester. I play a variety of styles of music in several bands. I'm an enthusiastic and experienced guitar player looking forward to imparting my knowledge with you.

If you've never played guitar before and would like to learn, or are an experienced player and would like to expand your musical vocabulary, or even if you just want to learn a few songs to play, I'm the guitar teacher for you. Every lesson there will be something to new to practice and explore for yourself.

I teach both at my house or can travel within a limited radius and have flexible hours able to teach both day and evening. I teach both to regular students and also guitar players who just want a one off session.

Lessons start at £15 for a half-hour session to£25 for an hour session. Block-booking and lessons can lead to discounted lessons upon negotiation.
