After the great time we had last week, I'm arranging another run/cycle this Sunday.
Please feel free to join us on foot or bike! Family, friends and children are more than welcome!
It's not a competition - simply a nice bit of exercise in Bedford's beautiful parks and countryside! With the added bonus of whipping us into shape and helping me to shed the last few lbs 😅
... Sim, Greg, Adriana, Elise, myself and whoever else fancies it, will be starting on the corner (by the horses) of Old Harrowden Rd at 9:30am. You can join us here for the full 21km half marathon or meet us at one of the other three meeting points for a shorter route:

THE PLAN: Start at 9:30am (as above). We should arrive at around 9:45 to Meeting Point 1 - Priory Business Park Entrance to the Park on the bridge.
We'll then carry on along the river, around the lake and along 'The Cut' to arrive at about 10am to Meeting Point 2 - Just before the iron bridge near sewage plant (same as last week).
From here we'll hit the beautiful countryside along Route 51 until we arrive at Meeting Point 3 - The Danish Camp for approx. 11am. We'll grab a quick drink here and then start the return journey.
Please try not to be late to the Meeting Points as times are a bit of an estimate and other than the Danish Camp, we won't be able to hang about for too long.

Lovely run/cycle today! Just over 13k including the extra bit at the end. About 8.5km to Danish Camp and back. Feeling amazing now 🌞
Going to do the same next weekend so all are welcome including family! Fun, sun, fitness and nature...What more can you ask for?

Congrats to Alvin for his first stripe today. This guy is now far from a beginner! He has the perfect attitude - always at training, humble, eager to learn and an all round nice guy!

Congrats to Lucy for her first stripe today! The saying 'never judge a book by it's cover' springs to mind.
She's not exactly the biggest person in our squad yet she's never afraid to get stuck in and roll with even the bigger guys...Anybody that's done BJJ before knows that it's not exactly semi-contact!
Lucy also has a very good eye for detail and doesn't take very long to pic up knew techniques.
... This stripe is very well deserved and I'm sure will be the first of many to come!
We all hope that you have an awesome time on your travels and look forward to being choked by you in a few months!

Adriana's been with us for a long time now but due to circumstances has missed the last few gradings. This stripe was long overdue! The same goes for "The Beast from the East', Darek who has been part of the family for years.

Well done to all of the boys competing yesterday competing at the English Open Nogi Championship and the Bedfordshire Open.
This is especially for James Green. He smashed the Bedfordshire Open, winning gold in an extremely stacked division with two high level judo black belts. He executed a perfect game plan!

Two silver's today at Devon Open. I was hoping for more but there's some tough dudes down here!
