Great park lots of beautiful animals and all are very tame and cared for greatly by the friendly staff, who are on hand to answer any questions you may have about any of the animals in the park. The prices are great for entry. They do holding sessions where you can get close and personal to some of the reptiles and other small animals. They also have lots of different walkways through animal shelters where some animals are laid close to the paths. Some are so close you are able to touch them also. They have hand washing facilities all round the parks so after touching an animal you can easily wash and sanitise your hands. The food shop is good with the gift shop to the side making everything accessible. They also provide a map of the park so you are able to find your favourite animals easily and quickly. Would definitely go again.

An excellent day out for all the we have been visiting since it first opened. The animals are well looked after and accessible and guides are very knowledgeable and amenable. Well worth many visits
Resteraunt food good and tasty value for money

Small zoo with small enclosures (seem to meet the minimum requirements for animal welfare but only just). Not a bad couple of hours but couldn't spend much longer here so personally I'd say the price was a bit high for entry. Food at the restaurant is nice with the gift shop being priced as you'd expect for any tourist attraction.

The film "we bought a zoo" is based on this zoo!!! Great day out for everyone...except those with mobility problems.it is not wheelchair friendly-at all.bumpy.stoney paths and steep hills.that apart the staff were lovely, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about the animals.another good thing was the trail so lost children could find their way back to a safe place! Good for kids and a birthday party was happening whilst we were there.loved the falconry display and it feels like you get closer to the animals than other zoos! All in all a good day out!

Incredible animals and fantastic staff. We were already big fans of the zoo but after a big cat zoo keeper day ... Well what can I say - amazing!!! Absolutely fantastic day.

We visit dartmoor twice a year and love seeing their progression. Big fans!!!

Nice small zoo, but wonderful animals. Priced just right. Tiger, Lion, Cheetah, Jaguar etc. And even Santa's Reindeer. A great day out. Paths need refurbishment if in a wheelchair, but just navigable.

Worth a visit. There are talks to inform you of the animals and feed times. Staff were friendly ,informative . Not expensive. And also being used for a wedding venue. An up and coming place.

Fantastic day out here today. Both us and the children loved it. A superb place to visit. Not big and showy like other zoo's. Staff are both friendly and knowledgeable. Ben and his team have done a fantastic job with this place and should be really proud of what they have achieved. Happy 10th anniversary.

I visited the park yesterday and whilst walking around several of the enclosures it appeared to me that there were many rats roaming around the walkways and taken over the enclosures!!! It wasn't until one ran out in front of me that it became a problem! When I paid to get into the zoo rats running around wasn't the kind of animal I wanted to see! They were sharing enclosures with birds, otters, raccoons and the monkeys!! The enclosures were extremely over grown and dirty! Also incredibly small for the types of animals that are there! When I went to report my concerns the lady was sat playing Pokemon Go on her phone! And when writing an email I was informed they were volunteers' and not staff, which doesn't make a blind but of difference! I will not be returning I have been in public toilets cleaner than this place! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!

What a great Zoo you can really get up close to all the animals Lions & Tigers etc, the admission is really cheap and a fun day out for my little family. Great as well if your a fan of the film "We bought a Zoo" and to go there and support a wonderful story. We also managed to meet the man himself Benjamin Mee who was walking through the cafe speaking to staff, we bought his book and got him to sign it for us !! Bonus !! I recommend this place to everyone and anyone who has followed the story and film please come here and carry on supporting this truly amazing Zoo.

Although it's not a huge zoo with a huge range of animals, it's a nice day out I'm a lovely area. The jaguar was amazing. They have shows at various times throughout the day. Cafe and ice-cream available. Toilets, parking and childrens play area. Half price entry to the aquarium in Plymouth if you keep you receipt (within 2 weeks of visit).

Loved it. Not as big as Paignton Zoo, but a real treasure. Lots to see ... the grandchildren had such fun. Best on a sunny day (mostly outside and quite steep hills in some parts - wheelchair friendly though)

A small but absolutely charming zoo with a surprising number of the "big" animals such as lions and tigers. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and willing to chat about how the zoo functions, and enclosures are well designed to provide plenty of enrichment for the animals.

Been here more times I can remember. Small enclosures for some animals and would be nice to see some of the animals have a companion. Many on there own and seems unfair.
Nice selection of animals though kids always have a good time here although not even one play area for them to play in so would be nice to see one in the near future. :)
