Happy Mother’s Day to all mummy’s today. There is a free glass of Prosecco for all mums dining with us today, a delicious homemade G&T cheesecake on offer and we have the talented Chris Thomas playing 4-6pm, outside on the cove if the weather stays nice (inside if not).

What a delightful little place this is tucked away. We didn't eat here but had a well deserved half of cider after a six mile hike. Will definitely go back.

We ate twice here on our 3 night visit to Dartmouth. They have a good range of beers and a great food menu. Excellent value for money and delivered quickly. Historic building on the River front. Drinks can be enjoyed outside across the road in a small cobbled area right on the Quay side.

The Landlord needs to concentrate more on keeping his waistline in check and less on his golf handicap. But he struggles on manfully and I understand he smiled twice during the first quarter of 2014. New menu lack the retro charm of its predecessor, but the food is generally edible. There is an irritating teenager with a big nose who is always in there (I believe he lives directly opposite). If you can avoid him and tolerate the surly landlord, it's an excellent hostelry.

The Dartmouth Arms is a delightful pub in a very beautiful position situated beside the famous Bayards Cove, you can sit by the harbour side and watch the world go by! the food is excellent the beer is delicious and the staff are very friendly! I'd highly recommend a visit if you're in Dartmouth!

Love this place, even when there are tourists in town it still feels like a second home. Lovely staff, who you can have a good chat and a bit of fun with, clean environment full of character, excellent views whether inside or out, and great food. Would be hard to beat.

Love the D.A. (although I am a bit biased as my shop is right opposite and I used to work there!). However, that aside, it really is in the most beautiful location, the staff are ace and the food is spectacular. It really is worth a visit to sip a cold pint in the sun on Bayards Cove, and maybe treat yourself to a pizza or nachos as the sun sets.

Local, lovely, welcoming proper place. Friendly staff, good food, and drinks, and space to dry and warm up.

Have been visiting this pub for years, it has great atmosphere and good food & beer with friendly helpful staff. It's great to sit outside with a drink and go crabbing with your kids or just watch the boats on the Dart.

Great, friendly little pub in a stunning location.

We shared a tasty nachos starter followed by delicious and very generously sized curry. Rose wine slipped down very easily as did the Doon Bar. We will certainly be back!

Biggest and tastiest ploughmans Lunch I've ever had and super friendly staff. Husband enjoyed his burger as well. Thanks for a lovely lunch!

Best pub in town. Nice surrounding area inside and out. Good food. Good treat to people by staff. Staff are so cool. When I go to town on weekend 1st pints start from there.

Always a friendly welcoming atmosphere, all the staff are great and the food is gorgeous! We always look forward to visiting the DA when we are in Dartmouth.

Whenever my wife and I go to Dartmouth we gravitate towards the Dartmouth Arms for lunch because we like the atmosphere and the food is always good and them staff friendly.

Nice pint of Otter Ale and great value, good quality, bar food. We weren't planning on dining but we did so having seen the food and we were glad that we did.

Lovely old fashioned pub with a good menu. The staff are very friendly and the meal portions are of a great size and of reasonable value for money. Dog friendly bar with an open fire, however if you would like to sit out on the water’s edge that’s fine as they have plastic glasses. A great night was head here as was an afternoon. Very comfy.
