Darwen Town Centre Description
1. PURPOSE
1. 1 That key stakeholders and business representatives, with an interest to support the development and growth of Darwen town centre work in partnership with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council to improve business engagement and deliver a Business Plan for Darwen Town Centre.
2. TERMS OF REFERENCE
2. 1 To strengthen relationships with businesses and develop a business focussed plan to support the future development and sustainability of Darwen Town Centre as a retail and leisure centre.
2. 2 To work to improve the customer experience for residents and visitors to Darwen Town Centre.
2. 3 To work with the Council to help deliver the growth agenda in Darwen Town Centre and lead on consultation with businesses
2. 4 To assist the Council and other agencies and local businesses in attracting private sector investment.
