What a fantastic night last night. Congratulations to Jamie & Ruth on a brilliant 40th birthday party for Jamie at Three Degrees West, Babbacombe. Everybody was all dressed up for a Grease night. Jamie was Danny & Ruth was Sandy. The T Birds were there in force, with all the Pink Ladies.....

Just finished setting up, sound and light check done, for what looks if it's going to be a busy night tonight. At Bovey Tracey about to celebrate Sue Irishes 50th Birthday. Happy Birthday Sue!

This Saturday is bonfire night at the New Inn, Broadclyst. If you want to buy fastrack entry tickets they are available from Broadclyst Post Office, Spar Pinhoe & The New Inn. But they will only be available until Friday evening, so be quick! Gates open 6pm Bonfire lighting 6.45pm & Fireworks 7.30pm. Look forward to seeing you there.

Couple of busy Saturdays coming up. Looking forward to a private family party this weekend in Pinhoe. Then the following week, very local for me in Broadclyst a 60th birthday party.

Congratulations to Kiri & Sam for their wedding at Fingle Bridge last Saturday. Mr & Mrs Walters from this day forth..... The weather outside was really good, so it was a little quieter than most weddings on the dance floor. Here is the bride and groom just before we invited their guests to join them on the floor.

Close to home for me last night. Despite living a few 100 meters away from Broadclyst Social Club for the past 32 years. Last night was my first night there! It was a Caribbean night, what a night it was. All the appropriate dress for the occasion, games and a limbo competition. A picture near the end below. Happy 18th Birthday to Abbie, great fancy dress party at the Ship & Pelican tonight. Can't remember what they were dancing to, but everybody had a great time..

What a night last night! Congratulations to Barry & Jenny Quant together with their team. The Big Barn Bash raised £15K for Cancer research and South West Hospice last night. We didn't finish until 2.30am. By the time we got home the sun was rising....Here is a picture during the night.

Playing at a special private Cancer charity event tonight between Newton Abbot and Torquay. It starts at 7.30pm until 2am so will be a long night but looking forward to a great night. Let's hope they raise a good chunk of money...

Congratulations to Michael tonight on his 40th Birthday. A really warm evening and a great atmosphere. Played music from the late 70s through to current with plenty of cheesy classics too.

Congratulation to Lisa & Nigel on their wedding yesterday. The reception was at the Coaver Club, it was an evening full of classic songs. And with the weather outside, It really was a "white wedding"

The end of an era. A really great atmosphere tonight, tinged with a little sadness. Carinas is now closed for major changes. My last photo from the DJ box during the night. The club should hopefully be reopen in in 8 weeks.

January has been a fairly quiet month. A good rest after a very busy end to 2017. Working both tonight & tomorrow night at Carinas, Sidmouth. After tomorrow night the club is closing for approx 8 weeks for major changes and refurbishment. So expecting tomorrow to be a very special night. Will be playing a load of classics to bring an era to an end. Come along and see the club for the last time in its current format.

2 functions tonight. Ben is at the New Inn Broadclyst & I'm in Sidmouth at the Elizabeth Hotel with an Accountancy Company. Both celebrating the Christmas season, it gets busy now.....Hopefully have some pics later!

Christmas starts this weekend for us. Here in Tiverton with Diamond Dogz on a family and friends Christmas party. The Dogz are playing right now with brilliant 70s tunes. We are on again shortly.....
