Lucy was recommended by my Pilates teacher back then last year when I had a severe pain in my pelvic/lower back area (being pregnant at that time) so I couldn`t even walk for around 2 weeks without wishing for an immediate help from someone.

From the first moment, Lucy was excellent with her understanding about my problem, she explained what is the cause and helped me with my pain seeing her only for 2 occasions. My problem dramatically improved in few days thanks to her and finally resolved in less than 2 weeks with following her advice and practising a series of exercise she gave me when I had to go abroad after my second treatment with her.

I've seen Lucy 4 times now and I always leave feeling extremely better than when I walked in. Now, whenever I get any sort of twinge in my back area she is my first point of call.

The first time I saw her, I could barely stand up straight or even turn the top half of my body. I was literally walking like the hunchback of Notre Dame.

I had hurt my trapezius muscle and my latissimus dorsi (I had to learn these names just in case it ever happened again) and was in an immense amount of pain (I had tried to work through it for almost 5 days). When I tried to move I would get a very sharp, shooting pain all the way from the top part of the back of my neck all the way down the right side of my back. In the past when I've experienced similar issues the routine was to get some muscle relaxants from the doctor and wait for around a week until it was better again.

This time though, I did a bit or research and came across electro acupuncture (I had tried regular acupuncture in the past also to no avail). After a quick online search I found the Datchet Osteopathic Clinic and booked the earliest appointment I could.

The first session entailed the initial consultation as well as the electro acupuncture. When the needles went in and the current started flowing through them, it felt a little weird at first but, it didn't take long at all to get used to (literally within minutes). When the session was over we tried some of the movements which were involved in the consultation and I could already feel the difference.

I had my second session 2 days later and when it was over, all I can say is WOW! I was able to actually stand up straight and move freely compared to my small range of motion 2 days earlier. I literally felt like a new man.

I would definitely recommend this form of treatment to anyone who experiences issues similar to mine.

Lucy really listens and puts you at ease. She offers great advice to back up the treatment that she's giving and doesn't just stick with the same treatment every time I go. I have recently had acupuncture which has really helped me and I feel makes such a difference to my back.
