Fantastic service and very well priced. Customer service is second to none, couldn’t have gone out of their way to help anymore than they did. Very happy customer and will certainly be using again! Glad to have found a dependable local bike shop.

I bought my first road bike from Dave Hinde 10 years ago and have just been back there to get it resprayed for a second lease of life. In that time I have bought two custom builds and a TT frame. Over the years both Dave and Jim have been very generous with advice on all things from wheels to frames and just 'how to do stuff'. I have always been delighted with the service and for a small outfit, they are very competitively priced. Plus, I am delighted to put my money into the local economy rather than a big, no-face Interweb monolith. I can highly recommend them.

I am about to buy a bike from David hinds very soon, I have been in the shop and spoke to them over the phone and they were more than helpful. The guy in the shop (apologies I forgot the name) took 30 mins out from his diner to explain every thing about their bikes. So fingers crossed the after sales will be as good as the pre buying advice.

Great little shop. New home bike build underway. I dropped the frame in to have the bottom bracket faced and a crown race installed. Super helpful even going as far as ringing the manufacturer to double check on the crown race install.

Just upgraded my Carbon road frame and wheels to their latest ones!!!! Wow what a difference!!!! So stiff but extremely comfy to ride!!!! Also had a dropper post put on my mountain bike with no hesitation!!!! Great lads!!! Nothing negative here!!! 5 Star service always!!!!!! Thanks Dave and Jim 👍🏻

September 2017, Bought a pair of Shimano 501 wheels for Winter with the plan to fit the Tannus solid tyres to get through the hedge cutting season and the worse of the Winter. Provided by Hinde Racing.

Wheels very good value and arrived promptly. They are true and free rolling. First ride today - wet & windy. Hard work with the solid tyres; no problem with the wheels.

As a complete newcomer to cycling I could not be more impressed with the service that I received at David Hinde. I now have a beautiful custom built road bike which has been made to measure to my exact size. I cannot recommend David Hinde racing enough.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating and when I rode my brand new made-to-measure Hinde bike for the first time a few days ago, it was like lemon soufflé with a generous helping of cream. The ride is silky smooth, effortless, in fact. I'm sure I didn't use to be that fit, but it took me up the Peak District hills with me barely noticing any pain at all!

Dave seems to know his stuff as he measured me up and put together what I can only describe as a bike that feels like an extension of me. Literally, think mermaid playing in the surf, then swap fish tail for wheels... you get the picture.

I've searched for three years to find a bike that fits me and that I could afford. Women specific bikes just aren't right as they still use men's frames, so unless you go for made-to-measure, or you have men's dimensions, then it's impossible to get something that feels right.

I'd absolutely recommend Dave Hinde bikes, they were so patient with me when I had a girlie moment about my colour choice and fitted in with every whim I had, without protest. Excellent service.

I had never heard of Dave Hinde before a few months ago I decided to give it a go. I had some doubts as some reviews were not that positive but as they are very local to me, I thought I had to go and visit. I went to the shop and met James and Dave who provided me with a lot of information about their bikes, how they source their frames etc.... In addition we also discussed my needs for a new road bike. I have found the discussions very professional (I have been cycling and met with lots of people in the last 25 years, so I think I can make the difference ;) ), technical and friendly. After a few visits, I decided to buy the bike (this was January). I was kept regularly informed of the progress and was very pleased with the results. Since I picked up the bike, I visited the shops on a few occasions and always felt welcomed in addition of being served in a professional manner.

I went to Dave as a Campagnolo specialist for what I suspected would be a tricky repair on a pair of old Campagnolo Boras. The hubs had been worn and deteriorating for some years and we're no longer responding to superficial work.
A couple of local shops had hinted at the extent of repair and didn't seem too keen to take the job on. After going to Dave I realised why. The wheels had to be virtually unlaced and rebuilt to access and replace internal bearing races (good old Campag design!) but Dave embraced the challenge with Jim sending me pictures and keeping me updated with progress all the way. The wheels are like new again!
Impressed with this work, I presented him with another challenge, taking the ultra torque chainset out of my most beloved frame. I'd accidentally tightened it when trying to remove it to such an extent that
neither I, some burly friends nor a couple of local shops could remove it 😳
Dave stuck it on his jig and must have some blisters to show from his efforts to remove it, which, to my delight, were successful!
I'll definitely use Dave again!

My wife and I have been cycling for around 25 years. We recently upgraded from our Specialized to Hinde FL760 road bikes, what a difference!! These bikes are light, stiff in all the right places, incredibly comfortable and the perfect fit thanks to the custom made to measure frames. They simply eat up the miles with ease. Dave and Jim couldn't have been more helpful offering sound and friendly advice talking through numerous options to give you the perfect bike. If you are not prepared to compromise and are seeking a competitively priced bike with the precise specification you want then look no further.

I ordered a FL760 from Dave Hinde in Northwich with just basic knowledge of what I wanted, after a few visits, and chat with both James and David, and a some time on the fitting frame, I now have a custom fit bike, with everything that was recommended to me. A few miles this weekend has proved that what I have is more than what I expected. Can't praise the service and quality I've had from the team at Dave Hinde.

I have been a regular client of Dave and Jim for many years, they always offer very knowledgeable advice with an excellent customer focused service experience. They invariably try and be competitive on price but honest when they cannot price match. I always choose Dave Hinde if I need a particular niche aspect of bike mechanical work done as there work is always of the highest quality.
