A great local bike shop that is at the heart of the Shropshire cycling scene.

It was a recommendation from a friend that I visit DM Cycles to have Di2 fitted on my bike. The job was done as expected without delay.
I had a couple of minor issues after a test ride a few days later (which I don't think were because of the job) to do with gear changing etc....again I dropped the bike back the following Saturday and the work plus a little bit of additional was done whilst I waited and advice given on the setup.
Great service and a great place to visit. I would recommend them for any work required on a bike and would have no hesitation returning to spend more money. A particular thankyou to Beckie for the admin side and Dave, Ian & Lee for the technical side and advice.

When the locking cap on my Shimano 105 crank fell off on a tour from Merthyr Tydfil to Sheffield I passed through Shrewsbury, checked a few places for repairs ... but Dave Mellor is the go to guy. Fixed it with no fuss and just charged 99p for the cap. Great place to go.

This is a TRUE cyclists bike shop. I was touring the area (from Canada) when I broke part of my rear bike rack. This was the third bike shop I had been to looking for a replacement part, all shops were sympathetic, nice staff but could not help till I found Dave Mellor Cycles. Not only did they have the part, but they were fine with me in their shop with panniers on the floor, tools set out working on my bike right there. They even offered me use of their tools (I had my own). AND then when it came time to pay, it was a shrug and a suggestion that a pound might be reasonable... A pound? sure I think that's reasonable, here have two..... Great service lots of bikes, parts accessories, wish they were my local shop.

Dave Mellor Cycles have been brilliant - and I've not even visited the shop. I spotted the bike I thought I wanted online, gave them a call, talked it all through with Dave who really knew his stuff, got a great price and the right extras - pedals, rack, lights etc - got it all signed off with the Cycle to Work scheme very quickly and got the bike delivered the next day. Their customer service has been exemplary and the bike itself is excellent. I'd recommend these guys to anyone - even if you're ordering online. Actually, probably especially if you're ordering online and getting it delivered. You get the personal touch which ensures you really get what you need. You can probably tell, I'm one very happy customer.
