Animals and fish are not kept in nice conditions and they have a meerkat in front window which looks quite distressed but do recommend for fish

Bought 4 goldfish for my 3 year old Grandson on Sunday and they are all dead within a week. Goldfish are very easy fish to keep hence why we bought them. Clearly not from there. My husband has also had tropical fish from there which haven't lasted long either. My advice is to go somewhere else. I certainly will be in the future.

Don’t buy marine fish from here! Fish were infected with ich!

Edit: also had marine velvet. Bought 4 fish from here... 3 are now dead. Even after treatment. Killed most of my original fish too!!

Should’ve known really with the poor conditions of the tanks and the bad lighting over them.

Walked in with my filter set up (1st time pond and didnt have a clue) the guy that worked there was so helpful! Showed me everything i needed and told me how to set up properly. Had some lovely fish and plants from here too

Sells fish, aquarium products, other small animals such as hamsters, rabbits and snakes. Also sells other pet supplies. Building is a bit scruffy but don't let that put you off. Staff are helpful and there is a small free parking area.

Such a shame. As soon as you walk in you see the poor little meerkat sat there depressed in an enclosure that at first glance looks like a storage cupboard! It's just cluttered with dated fish tanks at silly prices, random fish everywhere then all of a sudden a dirty bird and reptile enclosure tucked away at the back nexto some koi fish! I struggled to find any salt water fish in the "salt water aquarium". The cafe was a shock too, it's packed with a load of old arcade machines just sat there collecting dust not even plugged in! It's just really run down and dated. As one of the largest "aquariums" locally it's very disappointing! it's just a big load of nothing.

Bought 6 fish. Next day 4 were dead. The following 3 days I lost 8 of my origanal fish. My water tests were perfect. Will never step foot in that place again

My husband and I shall appear for peppy and for fish and we always been treated with upmost respect and then helped the time we are There. Have purchased many items from here and I've always been pleased with my purchases never had a problem with taking anything bad nor have I had a problem with staff. They have always been extremely helpful with any questions I have. They are extremely knowledgeable regarding the fish and I've always been helpful when asking about which fish I should put into my tank. Thank you Daves Aquarium.

Fish don't appear that healthy with a few dead in tanks. But we got a rabbit from here 5 years ago. Friendliest healthy happiest rabbit I have ever encountered

It isn't the best in the world, some would say its dingy, but its getting better. Had some new tanks fitted recently. Like most fish shop the staff are either clueless or they don't mind fibbing to sell you fish. New tanks should be cycled for at least a month.. AT LEAST. If you don't know what cycling is look it up. If only for the fish's sake, don't do it on their recommendation of 'at least a day' its just wrong.

Seems to me to be a very average business selling very average aquarium products (including fish). After buying two fish we soon discovered that one had difficulties swimming properly. The assistant had previously reassured us that they would adapt very well to their tank but whilst the orange oranda is fine, the black telescopic moor seems unsteady and unwell. My advice? Just be careful when buying from here.

Dirty run down place, and buying fish has not been a good experience. The shop is like a shocking state ceilings missing lighting not working the list goes on, it needs flattening. Many years ago it was an excellent place to shop but not now.
