NATIONAL FITNESS DAY üòç Join the poole fitness team tomorrow for a day of fun and fitness on the gym floor! We have 3 fun challenges running all day so get involved!
CHALLENGE 1- Dawn Until Dusk Row From 8am to 8pm we want to keep one rower active for a full 12 hours to see what distance we can reach! 10 mins or 1 hour- jump on and get involved! Team work üëå
... CHALLENGE 2- Hang Tough Hows that grip of yours? Hang out on the monkey bars for as long as you can. Simple right?
CHALLENGE 3- Gym Floor Assault Course We will have an assault course set up on our gym floor throughout the day. How quickly can you complete it? Have a go!

We took up an offer trial and have to say I’ve loved being part of the David Lloyd experience. Greg in the new members team has been very helpful in house and over the phone. The pool is brilliant, it’s so clean a real pleasure to swim in. With the warm weather we have been able to use the outside pool and sun loungers. The hub of the building is the coffee shop, with free computers available my two children have been kept entertained. I’ve been able to enjoy coffee and time to read the paper. I also attended a class one morning, and was welcomed by other members who also helped with the equipment. Thank you David Lloyd it’s been a brilliant week and my last day of my trial is today.

Really nicely laid out gym, not the biggest but great TRX area. Changing rooms very Poole like with the white and grey locker room (different from others). Staff friendly also!

Joined up 2 weeks ago, love it ! Great classes, happy staff always greet me as I come into the gym. Changing rooms clean and tidy, swimming pool fantastic too. Best gym around Poole and Bournemouth by far

I use david lloyds all over the country and this is one of the best.great food too.

Great place large indoor pool. Warm with a small kids pool. Heated Outdoor pool with sun loungers for sunbathing. Fluffy white towels depending on your contract. Saves bringing your own. Quality changing rooms with showers and soaps. Designer hairdryers. Me and my daughter love it racquets tennis gym section too. Lovely Costa coffee inside. And gently of quite areas also a small soft play area for young kids. I would not go anywhere else.

Great gym, wide choice of equipment to use, plus approachable and friendly staff.

Best facilities in Dorset for the indoor gymaniac

Great club! But why on earth are the cafe using throw away plastic cups for their smoothies for customers who are dineing in??? What a waste!

Excellent club , great classes all very friendly, great motivating and informative instructors which is why I joined.

Love it . Reception staff are very good too.

The vibe has improved since the takeover although there is still that feeling between generations that appear to look down on he younger side. My main gripe is the temperature when u leave the pool into the changing room. Having a little girl of 2 she is near enough in instant tears for the shear cold. Other than that, overall it’s still my sanctuary and won’t be going anywhere 👍🏻

Money making machine. No longer a club. No opportunity to feedback meaningfully other than directed to a “tablet”.

New manager does well at helping to clear tables...

Shame some of the regular staff are leaving.

New crèche system inflexible unless you pay more (back to money making again..)

No AGM for members that I’m aware of. Face to face feedback disingenuous. Meet and greet feedback sessions would be good. New programmes should be developed WITH members. So many missed opportunities to stop people feeling done to since the takeover.

Lately the indoor pool is very cold, the steam room and jacuzzi are often broken, the ‘spa’ area is literally just the jacuzzi. The shower next to the jacuzzi is often spurting water everywhere as it’s clearly blocked with limescale and for the past couple of weeks has been boiling hot. Everything is rather outdated, showers are often dirty with lots of dust on the changing room floors and inside the lockers, towels have often run out (and when you have to pay for the leisure of getting a towel included on your membership it’s not very good). When my fiancé and I joined in August 2017 we were promised by the ‘salesman’ that the entire pool area was getting a complete refurbishment by the end of August, well that refurb has NEVER happened, the newest part of the club is the restaurant / bar area which is good as the food is delicious and a good price, the staff are friendly. The children’s times are very lengthy in the pool which makes it very uncomfortable if you are aiming for a relaxing swim unless you get up first thing in the morning or go rather late in the evening. Unfortunately it’s not worth the price at the moment.

Disappointing club. My husband and I have been members at both Port Solent and Ringwood and this club is not very enjoyable to use. The pool is often too busy to actually swim. Recently there were eight adults trying to use one swim lane - it's impossible. DL could you try and increase the swimming lane capacity or create more adult only swim time? The restaurant it also a let down. It is often dirty and you end up cleaning you own table. Food is very slow to arrive so order in plenty of time.

Tried to speak to someone about joining for the whole family, twice by phone with no luck and then went down in person, no one is willing to give me a price without taking a tour and talking to the 'sales team'!!! No prices on website, what's the point? Why would I waste my time doing a tour without knowing how much it is going to cost me! Obviously don't want my business!
