The Ladies are looking to regroup after lasts nights 4-0 loss against East Glos A, when they take on East Glos B tonight.
... On Sunday, Men’s Team Tennis have their final match away vs Windsor. Currently in second place, we’re hoping Oxford Sports can take some rubbers off Thornden!

In honour of the famous grass court competition we are hosting our annual Strawberries & Cream Tournament on Saturday 13th July from 11am to 2pm.
After some great tennis, you can relax and watch the Ladies Singles final with some delicious strawberries & cream, accompanied by a refreshing glass of Pimms.

The Men’s A Team have been in fine form with two impressive wins!
Last Friday the team of Alex Parker, Liam White, Mark Willis and Neil Howitt had a very impressive 4-0 over East Glos 💪
Last night Colin & Liam and Neil & Ben continued the triumphant winning streak with a 4-0 win over Painswick.
... Thanks to both team for the hospitality and great tennis.
These last two victories puts the team on top of the Premier league with maximum points.

Some further success for our junior teams with the 10U team taking on Oxstalls on Sunday morning.
Edward, Oliver, Milly and Olivia were all on point and put in some exceptional performances to win the match 5-1!
The whole team did themselves proud, with some epic tennis and superb displays of team work in the doubles.

MASSIVE well done to our junior players who represented the Club yesterday in the DL inter-club team competition at DL Birmingham, and WON!!
Our amazing team came out winners on the day, retaining the trophy 🏆👍
This is such a great achievement to once again come out on top against the other DL Clubs in the West Cluster.

A big shoutout to Sophie and Charlotte Compton (pictured in the middle) who started on their local tournament journey last weekend, with friends Bella and Poppy Charlesworth.

It certainly was a busy Sunday for the 9U Team Tennis squad, with those two matches!
The team of Sienna Rayer, James Archard, Seb Heather and Seb Coventry started the day off with a huge 9-1 win at home against Oxstalls.
Next up was a tricky fixture away at East Glos A.
... With such a great squad of players, Max Dermont came into the team with James, Seb H and Seb C. It proved to be a tough one for the players, who lost out 2-8, however well done to Max, who won both his singles.
Shoutout to Seb Coventry who showed a massive team commitment and played through the pain with an ankle injury.

Whilst a certain Rafa Nadal was going about winning his 12th French Open title, our men’s Team Tennis squad were hitting Beckford for 6 😜
Top result for the team today in getting a decisive 6-0 win and putting pressure on Thornden Tennis Club.
On court, Alex, Colin, Charlie and Guy were in inspiring form in the singles, with Guy winning his 6-0 6-0!
... After a short break, Alex & Guy teamed up for the doubles, with Mark & Liam making their winning entrance to the match.

First up is a home tie against Oxstalls at 9.30 and THEN East Glos away at 2pm.
All in a day’s work for our juniors 💪

On Sunday, the Men’s Team Tennis will be back in action for a must win home fixture against local rivals Beckford.
Rumour has it, there will be two exciting US College Tennis players going head to head, in what could be an explosive match-up.
If you want to see some top tennis, then don’t miss this opportunity.

DL Glos are currently second in the Regional South West Division, with one further match to play.
