What a time to be in the "Fitness industry"πŸ€—πŸ€—
After scrolling across someone selling diet pills, teeth whitening and all sorts of other superficial s**t I began reading the comments posted by a few "clients" - Some of the comments made me chuckle..... - First statement "I have hardly eaten all week" how is that a positive? To not eat all week sounds like Hell. Secondly, how do you have the energy to train effectively and function well. Is this sustainable.. I think not! - Second statement "I have lost 8.8lb in a week" whilst this may be true, I dare say that the majority of weight loss would have occurred due to a reduction in water, all of which will go back on (and some more) when you go back to eating like a normal human being. - Third statement "mate your fat burners and water tabs have got me in the best shape of my life" My question is, what shape was you in to start with!!! Also, do you not think that how optimally you organise and execute your training as well as diet may have a bigger impact on your performance and physique?? - My point here is that there are a lot of charlatans in the fitness industry that just want to make a quick buck. They may look like they know what they're talking about and be in good shape but do they have your best interests at heart? - Plying you with pills and potions with no real knowledge on what they're giving you as well as not providing safe sound advice to me is disgusting. - Fitness starts with a healthy attitude towards yourself, look for someone who genuinely cares and wants the best for you, not some 2 bit salesman πŸ‘πŸ‘ - Rant over 😎😎 - David Mankel Personal Training. www.davidmankelpersonaltraining.com . . . . #thefitnessindustry #longtermgoals #wellness #health #diet #mentalhealth #coach #personaltraining
