When some bright spark uses fibre board for a flat roof? Rather than pay for the whole roof to be removed ( it surprisingly wasn’t leaking) we have re-enforced below using sterling board and cls timber. The roof is now secure and you can if required walk on it. The danger of this original installation is a good heavy snow fall could cave in the fibre board, which is the board used for pin boards like you had at school.

How can you make this bathroom into ......

Fitting replacement shower mixers in a lovely holiday let called ‘Blue Star House’ in Southsea Portsmouth. This is where I was putting the control handle back on and accidentally soaked myself. To be honest it was 27 degrees that day so I probably needed it. We are replacing 10 units over the next few weeks obviously downtime is costly so we have fine tuned the replacement to 24 hours from removing the existing tiles to polishing the new tiles the next morning. Our customer is over the moon that she can re let the room the next day.

And so the plumbing begins!! We are now fully functional with the best shower/bath you could wish for. The downside is that we have no doors so if you visit learn to whistle... loudly

Progress was slow, spotlights couldn’t be wired from above. Extraction had to be ducted down and eventually under the bath to the outside wall. Doors moved and walls built... might be time for some plumbing now?

This is how it starts with a fair bit of destruction. This is our own bathroom and it’s going to be a slow process of evenings and weekends.
