About Da'watul Islam UK & EireWe are one of the foremost Muslim organisations in the United Kingdom and have branches in major towns and cities nationwide. We are a founding member and affiliate of The Muslim Council of Britain. Since our establishment in 1978, we have worked with all sections of society to develop and deliver programmes that deal with education, community cohesion, and respect of other faiths and cultures. Although the focus of our organisation's work is primarily on the British Muslim community, it is not to the exclusion of others; all communities are benefiting from our wide ranging partnership programmes. Our Vision: To be an exemplary Islamic organisation contributing to the betterment of British Muslims and society at large. Our Mission: To be an organisation providing an effective platform to propagate Islam as a balanced and comprehensive way of life; support Muslim communities; develop educational, social, and outreach programs; and foster good relations with other religious communities, governmental and voluntary organisations. To inform and influence public policy and services in order to achieve better outcomes for British Muslims, their families and communities, and work in cooperation with other like minded organisations to achieve this.
