After contacting our local authorities we have been classed essential workers in certain instances. This is to cover vital phone/tablet repairs for key workers, home schooling and the like.
We have moved the workshop home and have taken all major precautions to combat any danger to ourselves or customers. For those needing repairs we will detail those precautions on a direct message basis at the time of repair request.
Stock is going to be limited as supplier stock will dry... up so please bear that in mind. We will only be doing essential hardware repairs such as screens, batteries and charge ports (ie get the device working).

In extreme cases where people can’t get out we can offer a pick up and collection service but this will be limited as to when we can collect. Detailed instructions will be provided at time of request.
We also have some devices for sale , mainly iPhone 7 and 8 as well as essential charging accessories. If you need these and are stuck in please contact and we can arrange a drop off if urgent

Whilst the government ruling is slightly confusing as to who can actually go out to work at the moment we have decided to close our shop until further notice.
We are a main high street location and the amount of footfall puts our staff and customers at unnecessary risk.
We are however seeking clarification if phone repair (especially to key workers with phones) is deemed as an essential trade. If ok we will will try to offer two solutions -

With the Covid-19 picking up pace we have put measures into place to protect our customers , our staff and the elderly due to be in self isolation.
* All staff are wearing disposable gloves and are thoroughly cleaning hands post device repair. Repaired devices will be cleaned with anti bacterial wipes and placed in a sealed bag until collection.
* Surfaces, counter tops and door handles are cleaned and sprayed with dettol at every opportunity
... * We will try to do our upmost to provide support for any elderly persons with a broken device. If this means we have to pick up and drop off we will do our best to try and make sure they have contact with the outside world.
If anyone needs support (not just the over 70s) and can’t visit us then please contact us via the details below. We won’t be charging for any email or phone support.
