Days Inn Kendal Killington Lake

Had a good 2 days there.we foynd the room very clean and spaciousview from the room across the lake was lovely.

We had a family room and although a bit dated we had plenty of space for 4 and were comfortable. The view was amazing. Being right next to M6 we thought it may be noisy with traffic but the only think that disturbed us was the hall door banging occasionally as people came in/out. We only saw the receptionist at check-in bit she was helpful, efficient and friendly.

Can't complain about this place, room clean, comfortable a dog pleasant.
The girls on the reception etc were extremely helpful and welcoming.
No problem with staying again - many thanks to all concerned

The website advertises a continental breakfast which is nonexistent (see pictures,) the alternative is to buy a £7.50 voucher worth £10 for Mcdonalds and Costa which we did not consider an adequate substitute considering we have 2 children and my wife is on a diet. A substantial amount of black mould around the seals on the bath. We felt the general standard of both hygiene and maintenance was significantly lower than we were hoping. We have stayed in many better hotels, a fair few for less money than we paid for this particular visit. Positives were the view from the bedroom window across the lake, and the size of the room, however we would much rather have had style over substance.

Great for a short stay. A little dated, but very clean and well equipped. Pleasant reception staff.

Beautiful views of Killington Lake.
Would have got 5 stars if it had a breakfast restaurant, however, coffee place is next door and offers a selection of pastries and sandwiches.
Would consider staying again.

Great location for taking day trips to the lakes. 25% discount on the service station restaurants if you want it. Rooms are basic but clean and spacious. Note that the site states you can pay a surcharge of 6.99 for breakfast - however there is no restaurant attached so this is no longer available.

Dog friendly and lovely view of the lake. Nice and clean.

A very comfortable and quiet overnight stay, with views of Killington Lake from our room window, second to none. Friendly helpful staff on hand at all times making it hard to say no to another visit. Highly recommended...

The room was spacious. It's good value for money. The only downsides are that you have to pay extra to get a breakfast voucher for Costa and that doesn't get you much because its Costa😁. Also you only get 30 minutes free Wi-Fi each day.
