WEDDING INSURANCE To all of our brides and grooms with weddings coming up, If we could give you one piece of advise it would be to make sure that you have wedding insurance. So far this week we know of a venue catching fire and burning down so they aren't able to cover the wedding bookings that they have, Thankfully it seems that all the damage was contained to the venue and no customers or staff were injured but the venue does of course have weddings and I'm sure functions... booked in that will all need to relocate. We also know of a catering company going out of business which has meant that they are no longer able to cater the bookings that they have on their books. Both of these things are devastating for all involved but it reminds us of a wedding that we helped with a few years back when the Ocean suite in Eastbourne was affected after the fire that broke out on the pier. The couple had the venue booked and could no longer use the space for their wedding so they had to change venue and all the costs that were associated with the changes that needed to be made were luckily covered by the wedding insurance that they had taken out. Wedding insurance is a relatively low amount in the grand scheme of what you pay for a wedding and we cant advise that you take it out strongly enough. We hope that you would never need it but for peace of mind, If you don't have insurance please please look into it.

One of our wedding set ups from last month at the beautiful The Milwards Estate We provided White floor length table linen with dusky pink napkins. We are big fans of a coloured napkin here at Dazzling HQ we love the addition of colour to the table. We also provided our popular white chivari chairs with bay trees decorated with fairy lights for the table centre pieces. We are happy to be planning to go back to Milwards for another wedding set up next month. We were very lucky to have been a part of this wonderful set up at the Malmaisson hotel in Brighton a few weeks back. The weather wasn't on their side but the lovely couple still managed to have their wedding ceremony outside, The first one that the hotel has had. With the stunning Brighton Marina in the background what a perfect location. We provided some balloons, Chair covers and a lovely backdrop just incase the ceremony had to happen indoors. #brightonwedding
