𝗗𝗕 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝗻 (𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱) 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 €𝟭𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻
Our branch in Shannon, Co. Clare (Ireland) is set to grow its facilities with a €10 million investment providing an additional 55,000 sq. ft for completion by late 2020. The expansion will substantially enlarge its existing capacity and lead to an increase in the workforce. CEO Ray Hennessy described the investment as a strong vote of confidence by the company in the region.
On the project’s development B...usiness Unit Director Sean Meaney commented: “It is still very early in the project and we have a lot of work to do. As part of our Investment application, we’ve now drafted a design for the new building. The expansion will provide an additional 55,000 sq. ft with 12 meters clear height within the warehouse. It will be a heated facility capable of supporting a temperature range of 15 to 30 °C and will also contain a chilled chamber with a range of 2 to 8 °C.”
