Join us for a day of clay pigeon shooting, air rifle or archery. From absolute beginners and those who just want to have a go through to practised shots who wish to hone their skills, our friendly, qualified and experienced coaches will guide you every step of the way, making your time with us enjoyable, fun and valuable.

Yesterdays scores that were handed in. Good 39 from Jon with Jack close behind with 37. Andrew was over the moon at beating Dean on the 2nd round, nothing like a bit of father and son rivalry. Next shoot Weds 1st May
First time for the new Vitoria today with two lady clients, fitted really well and no need for comb raisers. Also two beginners in that had left of centre vision so put a SHOOTSP on both guns, really good results both shot imcomer and quartering away targets with both eyes open.
Wild weather for the S/W game fair over the weekend which made targets interesting!!. Thankfully there were enough hardy souls to give us 53 on Sat and 77 on Sun. Two of my trainee coaches there for assessment, little difficult finding enough eligible clients (those with no previous experience) but one managed an assessment and the other two. One who accredited last year passed to be a safe shot assessor, and I managed my re-assessment so altogether not a bad result.😀
Being a right handed shooter with left eye dominance I have been experimenting with the SHOOTSP. I have 2 Browning B725's so have fitted one to mine, the difference is amazing. With both eyes open mounting the one with SP aligns with my right eye whereas, the one without aligns with my left. It's going to take a lot of practice to get used to the new sight picture after 50+ years, but this could be the breakthrough for those with cross eye dominance. I have SHOOTSP's on stock and coaching versions for temporary fit so clients can experience the effect for themselves.
For those of you who are always asking for an update on Charlie, our Talent pathway shooter he came in for a lesson on Saturday, and has changed his discipline to Olympic Skeet which he finds very exciting.

Busy weekend with clays,airgun and archery. Group of 5 French men complete with interpreter on Sunday, it's amazing what you can achieve with sign language👈
ShOOTSP is the latest shooting aid to improve consistency and also help the cross dominant shooter. Check their facebook page. I have them on stock and will be trying them myself and with cross dominant clients. If you have eye dominance problems or feel it may help your shooting in general book a lesson to try it out.

Just like to wish all friends and clients a Merry Christmas and Happy New year.
Small turnout today but not surprising with the weather. Not many cards handed in. The crosser on stand 2 and the battue on 3 seemed to be the ones causing problems .Scores on the doors, Ed was top with 39 followed by Joni,Colin and Ralph all on 28 well done all, and thanks for raving the weather.
