what a fantastic place to go and eat --we all had an amazing time - food was fantastic-- the staff are so nice and very helpful-- A++++++++++++++++

Writing this review on behalf of my parents booked this for their 40th wedding anniversary and was not disappointed. They had 3 courses and they said it was all cooked to perfection they had the Sunday lunch and the food was plentiful and very good value. Staff were friendly and service was exceptional especially considering they were all young and it was a busy day. They will be going back.

Went there yesterday at last minute for Sunday roast the food was excellent staff were friendly and very welcoming, it was nice and relaxing had some nice music playing in the background, I've been there quite a few times now and we have enjoyed every visit .

This is a very different review but really want to say a HUGE thank you to the owner James who saved my day yesterday. My car broke down outside the Restaurant and James was amazing he called the AA for me and even allowed me to wait inside for over hour and a half even though they were closed. Thank you so much for your help and kindness. I will be bring my family in soon for Dinner ��

Our plane mad little girl had a great fourth birthday dinner at the dc diner. The table was set out for her with decorations and a banner which was a really nice touch. They opened early for us also. Both our girls loved going up sitting in the cockpit. The food and service were great, the diner really is a hidden gem of Coventry �

It's in a plane :-D that in itself is awesomeness... But niche aside, the food was first rate, the steak me and wife had were perfect and everything was nicely presented. Staff were friendly and very helpful and did I mention its a plane!!!!! Would heavily recommend a visit.

Friendly staff, lovely setting, very clean. Delicious food at a reasonable price. This was our first visit but would definitely go back. Dress for the weather though. It was well heated tonight but it is a big tin can so there's a limit to what they can do! (We were warned when we booked that a jumper may be advisable but it was warmer than ì expected!).

First visit under new management. Absolutely amazing food - sorry couldn't eat it all - and fantastic value for money. My 3 year old couldn't have enjoyed it anymore and he was made to feel very welcome. I will definitely be returning for another meal. Thank you. X

Booked in for my little boys birthday yesterday so had the sunday lunch menu arrived to a decorated table food came out fast and was really nice staff were lovely even with my over excited children after we ate dinner we then had a cake brought out to us which was delish too!! Boys loved it and we were very happy would deffo reccomend to others �� xx

A great little place :) It would have been great if it has coincided with the air museum The staff were friendly and it was just your normal pub food :) Overall I liked it - very enjoyable!

Went there Saturday for my partners birthday, there were 17 of us. It was pretty chilly on there to be honest so we had to sit in our coats for a while and the long table was a bit crammed, 2 of us had to cram together at the end which was silly as there was plenty of space in the plane to have a comfortable long table for 17.The atmosphere was a bit disappointing, no music and was really bright on there. Could of done with some light background music and mood lighting really for an evening meal. Food was ok, the starters were the best part but didn't really rate the mains. Service was ok for the amount of people. Glad we did it but I think they let themselves down a bit to be fair, I said it was for a birthday and there was no mention of it from the staff or anything on the tables. Shame really.

One of those places once you've been and experienced it you wouldn't rush back again . Says on website views of runway but windows that dirty couldn't see out off them . Waitress pleasant enough but could have abit more of a happier face . Toilets pitch black , but food was very nice and kids loved the idea of it and sitting in cockpit

My nephew (party of 9) specifically asked upon booking if needed to pre order was told we didn't!



When we arrived we we're seated quickly and food order was taken promptly .. about half hour after ordering was told that one of the meals ordered was not available( why had it taken that long to realise??)

.. our booking was for 1pm and our food didn't arrive til almost 2:25pm each time we ask the waiting staff we were told they would just go and check how long it would be , but they never got back to us! On one occasion we were told it's because they were busy.. yet at one point we were the only people in there!

When the food did arrive it was fabulous and I really can't fault it but the wait did dampen our experience especially as we had young hungry children in the group.

Staff seemed unenthusiastic and un willing to help or offer any solutions!

So I would suggest preordering if you're visiting hopefully you'll get your food quicker ..

Food was ok. Place could do with a really good clean - tables sticky, flies in the cockpit, food on the floor. There seemed to be only one full ketchup and mayo for the tables which was moved around. Specifically asked if my sons food could come out with starters which it didn't so he wasn't happy sitting there whilst we had food. Don't think we'll be going back.

A good concept but it badly needs a cash injection. Very bare and basic. The signage to find the venue leaves a lot to be desired. Arrived to find lots of young people in the doorway but no member of staff for a good five minutes. The toilets are down very steep steps and dirty.

A good varied menu offered but when we ordered the steak and gammon we got told that their delivery of meat hadn't arrived and wouldn't be for that day! What about the evening meals! Had to rethink what we wanted. Meals took ages to arrive but we were only ones in. Big meals but the fat must have been old because chips and the battery in the chips were yucky. However, they did present the birthday cake we provided. Gave my daughter a small glass of wine as the birthday girl (40). Sadly will not visit again or recommend. So much more could be made of it. The Manager was pleasant but kept disappearing. Nonetheless, my daughter loved her surprise because she has never been on a plane.

Waited an hour for pre-booked food.then another hour for pudding.food my good enough to wait that long for. Don't bother.the plane is a bit scabby too

Shockingly bad. I cannot believe that a business would confirm a booking at 1.30pm for 16 5-7 year olds to come for dinner at 6.00 pm on the same day and then not show up at all.

Booked for mum's birthday lunch, when we arrived the member of staff was shuffling chairs into a ridiculously tight space. When she eventually showed us to that table it was clear we'd not be able to sit at it. She made no apology for the lack of room, and that my mother couldn't even get into her seat at all.

We chose not to stay as there was no other seating and the member of staff offered no apology or alternative seating. She was very abrupt. A complete waste of time and effort, despite booking.

We had been here before and it was great, but this had put us off and we would not return

Booked for 30th birthday party several weeks ago. Last week we decided to visit to give our food order as requested a week before.

On arrival, the gates were padlocked and it looked as if it had closed down. Despite trying to make contact via landline, mobile and Facebook messenger, there has been no reply.

I am so glad we made the visit and tried to make contact. If I hadn't done these things, a very special birthday wood have turned into a very upsetting and embarrassing evening. We have booked elsewhere and are looking forward to it!
