Loved making this Mad Matter & Alice in Wonderland themed cake for a very special 13th birthday.
This was my last fondant cake for the time being as I try to delay surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists! Thankfully I still get to make lots of buttercream & ganache cakes which are my faves 😁 x

So this lovely lady was celebrating a special birthday and is a big fan of buttercream, so what better than a cake full of it 😜!
This was 4 layers of Vanilla sponge filled with Vanilla buttercream, finished with a marbled Vanilla buttercream & topped with hand piped buttercream flowers. Should be enough buttercream for any fan 😉

It's been a bit manic in the kitchen over the last 24 hours especially with an unexpected trip to A&E with the hubby! So whilst he awaits surgery to patch up his leg 🤦‍♀️ I'm back in the kitchen between wrangling the kids 😂. Not quite the start to the Xmas hols I had planned, nevertheless these beauts are all ready for tomorrow's collections 😊.

Absolutely love this design and so pleased with how it turned out 😊. Hoping it managed to put a smile on the birthday girl's face after being extremely poorly.
Bottom tier is vanilla sponge filled with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam, top tier is vanilla sponge filled with nutella buttercream. Both tiers are finished is a white chocolate ganache and fondant, decorated with hand made sugar paste flowers and one of our personalised cake toppers ❤

We ordered a cake from DDs for my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary and couldn’t not be happier not only was the surprise amazing for my parents but the cake was beautiful and the taste and cake was so moist fresh and beautiful tasting! Well worth more than 5*! Thankyou so much! We’ll be using again!

Took delivery of two cupcake jars, one cookies and cream and one chocolate honeycomb, and I have to say the minute I opened the parcel they looked fabulously delicious! The jars were both high quality and labelled beautifully, each with a clear plastic spoon fastened to the jar with a silver ribbon. The real quality was found after opening each jar. Oh wow. The flavours were amazing, and the 3 of us dug in and almost finished them both within minutes! These would make amazing presents too and I'll be back for more! Can't recommened highly enough!

The unicorn birthday cake, for our daughters 21st, was absolutely fantastic. The sponge was so light, it was delicious �

The BEST cakes I have ever tasted in my life!! I'm DD's biggest fan and she never ever fails to disappoint. We recently ordered cupcakes for my brothers 30th and I should have ordered double the amount they were so popular. The detail was incredible and we even got them delivered � would definitely recommend and will be ordering lots more in the future � xx

If you haven't tasted these delightful confectionaries from DD's Cupcakes, you haven't lived! Dawn is courteous and efficient and communicates promptly. The cupcakes I ordered were beautifully presented, immaculately iced and tasted absolutely heavenly. The chocolate was moist but not heavy. The orange icing wasn't too overpowering, the milk chocolate icing you could die for and the mint chocolate icing was just incredible. Will definitely be ordering again!

Dawn recently made my Daughters Birthday Cupcakes and my Sons eighteenth Birthday cake; both which incorporated exactly what they wanted while looking and tasting superb! Special mention must go to Dawn for taking time out between Christmas and New Year to making my Sons first ever 'specially made' Birthday cake and doing such a fabulous job. Cannot recommend enough!!
