De Lacey'S, Congleton Description

De Laceys is based in the magnificent building that is Congleton Town Hall. Our name, `De Laceys` is taken from Henry de Lacy. 3rd Earl of Lincoln (1249 – 1311), who granted the first borough charter to the burgesses in Congleton. Steeped in history the town hall was completed in 1866 and was designed in gothic style. We even have a friendly resident ghost that is seen occasionally in the Grand Hall and bar area!
At De Laceys we aim to provide freshly prepared foods from the finest ingredients we can source, preferably locally, and our tapas menus are based on traditional Spanish recipes. We also have a wide range of British dishes on our menu , all prepared freshly to order. From tasty wraps and sandwiches to omelettes and homemade soup. We love families, from the oldest member to the youngest you will be made welcome. Not to mention our `ladies that lunch` and the odd business meeting that takes place over a meal.

Good food always tastes better when shared with friends!
