DMU is committed to supporting students with disabilities, aiming to provide a campus that is accessible to all. DMU works with applicants and students with a wide range of physical and sensory disabilities, medical conditions and specific learning differences. We also provide help for students to manage the effect of their disability on their studies. This includes working to access appropriate funding and embedded support.

This is a big diverse University. Lots of facilities, lots of refurbished buildings and now has a real campus feel. Right in the centre of Leicester too.

Really diverse university and as with most things, if you really want to enjoy it, you need to put most of your effort into it

Leicester Polytechnic became De Montfort University in accordance with the Further and Higher Education Act in 1992.

Polytechnics were notorious third-rate institutions for less able students who didn't have the talent and work ethic to get into university, and De Montfort University continues that tradition.

A third rate university if there ever was one, for less able students who want to kill a few years as they don't want to work.

Heard the school is a nice place

This is one of the great universities in the country with great facilities and excellent academic records.

No support at all, terrible facilties ,a degree farm that doesnt care in the slightest as long as they get there cash .I'd rather be homeless than attend this "university".

When I visited the DeMontfort University in April 2012,it was flooded with many students.I visited many different labs and workshops.One of the best place to get Practical knowledge in design field.

Provides good opportunities and experiences. Friendly campus. Was an Ex-student. Learnt a lot from it. Miss the University life..
