About Deacons Marina
Deacons marina on the river Hamble provides 130 walk-ashore marina berths and 150 yard spaces in our full-service boatyard.
Deacons Marina Description
Deacons Mariina and Boatyard was first established in 1922 and is now part of the boatfolk family of marinas.
Situated on the sheltered western side of the Hamble River, Deacons offers a walk-ashore marina and full-service boatyard capable of lifting boats up to 20 tons and 45 feet in length.
Boat repair /service work and all lifting services are carried out by our experienced team. Plus we have a great range of marine specialist companies on site.
Why Boats brokerage are onsite, selling new Parker and Elan boats and second hand boats of all types.
Every major marine service the boat owner is likely to need is available on site, whether it be an engine service, repair to sprayhood, new rigging etc. For a list of the marine services on-site click here.
Force 4 Chandlery is located in the main service building beneath Deacons offices and is one of the largest chandleries on the south coast with a huge inventory and knowledgeable staff.
As well as being a full service facility, Deacons offers a tranquil base to berth your boat being well protected from the prevailing south westerly winds. There is now a cafe on site and other amenities close by including some good restaurants, pubs and shops.
Located just 5 minutes from the M27 and close to Bursledon rail station, Deacons is easily accessible from London and the home counties enabling you to spend less time travelling and more time on the water.

We have had Jack & Kevin up from Portland for the last two days, having some boatcare training. This is Jack putting on the polish prior to buffing. The start of the D&R Boatcare Academy!
We are really pleased to announce that Quay Marinas and Dean & Reddyhoff Marinas have agreed to merge. The new company will operate the widest network of coastal marinas in the UK with 11 marinas in the four home nations.

Another busy day in the boatyard at Deacons. The team is working hard & also enjoying the lovely sunshine!
Summer Party tickets are now in the office for our bertholders & tenants! £5 for tickets, and ALL money raised goes to Charity. The date is 12th July, and we start the party at 6pm!!

Beautiful morning here! We’re getting closer to completion of the new pontoon layout - Some more piling and moving of pontoon fingers today should see pontoons A & B complete.
Tricky work this afternoon with the Walcon Wizard trying to grab and then extract piles - this one didn’t want to come out so they’re trying again tomorrow...The Wizard is a 25m barge, shallow draft & self propelled, useful to access areas that few others can.
