It was a delight to welcome pianist and motivational speaker, Nicholas McCarthy, to Dean Close today. Nicholas treated pupils to stunning performances and told the story of his remarkable journey to becoming a concert pianist, with one hand. This Saturday 28th July, DCS actors will be performing ‘Regeneration’: an adaptation of the powerful novel by Pat Barker which tells the true story of when poets Siegfried Sassoon and Wilfred Owen met at the Craiglockhart Military Hospital when invalided out of the trenches in WWI.
The Open-Air season is a tremendous event where audiences are welcome to bring their own chairs and tasty treats. We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible!
