Two and a half years ago I bought my beautiful mare from sarah! She's 6 now and being amazing! She's competing successfully at novice level eventing and has qualified for the 6yro champs at Osberton this October! She has so much ability and is so genuine! Slightly delayed post but I think it is still worthy - I bought my lovely boy from Sarah nearly 6 years ago After travelling all over the country and going through the usual heartbreak of horse buying, we found Angelo just up the road and as soon as i set my eyes on him i knew he would be coming home with me. I absolutely didn't plan on buying a 4 year old but he (just turned 11) has been everything I could have wished for and more, I'm so grateful to have found my best friend and team mate all that time ago and that's thanks to Sarah and her team, they were so open, honest and friendly and made the process very easy, highly recommend!

I visited Dean Farm today. Not only were the facilities immaculate, everyone who worked there were so nice and supportive and the horses were first class. As a nervous rider they were sympathetic to my needs and I was not rushed or pushed in anyway. Have absolutely no qualms about recommending them to anyone. Would give more than 5 stars �

I recently began the arduous search for a new horse after losing my precious partner of 5 years. I was not looking forward to it!!! A couple of friends directed me to Sarah at Dean Farm which is where I found Jims Lad! A very sweet 5yr old Irish boy who is proving to be everything Sarah said he would be! A green but genuine little horse that likes to please and has done a bit of everything! I rode him in the school one day, including popping a tiny jump and the following day Sarah took me for a hack including riding in an open space and riding up a busy, fast road. Jim behaved very well, (even when Sarah's was a bit silly!!) then passed his vetting and has been home with me for just over a week! I would like to thank Sarah and her staff for being honest, open and happy for me to take as long as I like, without pressuring me into a sale, to make sure Jim was the horse for me with a 7 day money back guarentee if Jim misbehaved and turned into a wild child!! (Which he didn't) And a 30 day exchange to the same value should I not be happy with my partnership with him. A pretty fair deal in my opinion! I have also had several messages from Sarah asking how things are going and seeing how Jim has settled in. I never thought I would buy a young horse and I have to say I was a bit sceptical but Sarah's young horses are started very well and have a lovely keen attitude to work and have not been overworked nor spoilt and I would therefore highly recommend buying a 5 yr old from Dean Farm as I have!!!! Thank you again Sarah. I am delighted with my special boy and I know we will have years of fun together! X

I had been looking for over a year for a horse that would look after me due to prior injuries and experiences. Sarah suggested i came to meet Jay. Obviously I wasn't originally looking for a 5 year old due to them not being your typical confidence give! However I have had jay for 5 weeks now and I can't tell you how much I love him! He is 100% true to his advert, very green flatwork but a diamond to hack he and Has already learnt so much in his schooling. Just a honest willing horse. I am thrilled with my horse and can't thank Sarah and her team enough for such honesty and a very professional sales process. He is a dream and would recommend anyone to have a look at the horses on offer here!

I first saw Barney advertised on a Facebook group and immediately messaged Dean Farm for more information and videos. I was completely honest with Sarah and told her all about myself and what sort of horse I wanted.....Barney would be my first horse and my confidence was at a total low following on from a previous horse I had loaned. We made the 200 mile round trip to view Barney, and the whole viewing was lovely and relaxed....Jemima rode him for us and did everything we asked of her. I then rode in the school and down the lane before untacking. We returned a week later for a second viewing which included a mini lesson with Jemima, and a hack out with Sarah on one of her horses down a busy road. I cannot praise this whole experience enough! Both Sarah and Jemima were completely honest about Barney and seemed really keen to match horse to rider! I never felt rushed and Sarah held off enquiries with other potential buyers allowing me time to make my decision. I've now been the very happy owner of Barney for 10 weeks and he is everything I imagined and more! I never dreamed that I would end up with a 6 year old but he is so genuine, sweet and safe....Every week I feel that we are continuing to grow more and more together! Thank you so much for my boy! I first met Sarah when I went with a friend to view a horse. I had recently had a bad experience my self buying a horse from a dealer that had to be returned as it wasn't as sold. I was telling Sarah how upset we all were and she listened to what I was looking for, a mother daughter share and I felt she actually understood what a novice rider was and that I wanted something that would look after a novice but happy to go out and compete low level dressage and fun rides. Late in November I went to meet Kitts to see if we would be suitable partners. We saw her loose in the stable my daughter was able to groom her and handle her, tack her up which gave us a feel for how she was in the stable. We then watched her ridden, Jem did everything we asked including popping a small fence with loose reins. We both then rode her, Sarah and Jem giving my daughter a little lesson. Nothing was too much trouble and it was obvious it was as important to Sarah that we were suited as it was to me to find the right horse for us. Well 2 months later we are delighted to say what an amazing horse we have. She's perfect. Looks after my daughters so well. They've been hacking and having lessons and we have also started groundwork lessons and it's so lovely to see them playing games together. Kitts is happy chilling out with us and equally happy at her first dressage clinic yesterday with me. Fab little horse who is exactly as described and exactly what we were looking for. Can't thank you enough Dean Farm. Highly recommended.

Due to the wonders of fb, I saw an ad for a Confidence-building SJ Clinic at Dean Farm and signed up straight away, despite not knowing anything about the facilities/instructor. I’m so glad I did!



The clinic was brilliant because Sarah explained her observations, gave me new options to try and let me decide which method worked best for us. I wasn’t just mindlessly following instructions but learning, trying out new things and finding better ways of communicating with my horse.



I felt looked after from my first pm, which was answered quickly, including directions to the farm (as it isn’t quite as straight-forward as following Google maps), to being offered a lovely stable to tack up in (out of the rain), to someone offering to turn my truck and trailer around after I parked a bit awkwardly.



I definitely recommend and will return for more clinics...and probably take advantage of some of the many other services offered onsite.

5 star facilities for horse and rider. Wether you are a pleasure or competition rider this is the perfect yard. Quality grazing with lovely well maintained paddocks. A very secure yard set in beautiful surroundings. Great routine and knowledgeable help at hand. A lovely selection of horses for sale from riding club to someone who wants to do a little more. Very friendly and relaxed.
