Deansbury Kitchens both design and manufacture high quality bespoke kitchens and bedroom furniture from their workshop and showroom in Northallerton, North Yorkshire.
Established in 1996, originally working from Low Farm near Thirsk, the company out grew these premises and relocated to expand the business.
Phillip Bottomley, founder of Deansbury Kitchens, originally trained as a cabinet and furniture maker, with over 25 years of experience. His fine quality of workmanship resonates within every item that leaves his workshop.

The service
Deansbury Kitchens make ‘truly’ bespoke kitchens and bedrooms. Every successful kitchen or bedroom is a direct response to comprehensive discussion with their customers.
Their design intent is to treat every customer’s brief as an interior design project, ensuring that the lighting, plumbing, and any electrical appliances integrate seamlessly with all of the decorative finishes to walls, floors, worktops and furniture.
Deansbury Kitchens drive each project forward, liaising with any architects or project managers and coordinating all the trades people involved. The customer is assured that once the design and the budget has been agreed, from then onwards the process to final installation is in the hands of their professional team.

The Kitchen
Deansbury kitchens hand build their solid wood kitchens. Their simple elegant designs are made from timbers sourced from environmentally friendly, well managed, sustainable forests.
Their craftsmen will ensure that you see their skills and experience of traditional cabinet making within the dovetail drawers, scribed panels and plinths or butt hinges let into the doors and frames.
Every individual kitchen designed, built and fitted by Deansbury Kitchens is a response to the customer’s requirements and aspirations. The planning and construction of each kitchen is a culmination of thorough discussion with the customer and the various trade’s people involved. Careful consideration is taken to the architectural style of the room and all the finishes, whether it is for a wooden or a painted kitchen. The final product is a truly bespoke kitchen where creative and intelligent design has integrated perfectly with practicality, a high quality of workmanship and an exceptional level of customer service to match.
The Bedroom, Dressing room, Study and Furniture
Many clients have commissioned Deansbury kitchens to design and fit furniture within other rooms of their home. They have every confidence in the company and the workmanship built over their experience during the design and fitting of their new kitchen previously.
The in-house interior designer will not only design the built-in element to the room, but can also extend the interior design service to incorporate a complete new interior scheme.
In addition to built in furniture, Deansbury Kitchens have produced free-standing pieces of furniture such as dining tables, side boards and dressers as well as dressing tables, bookcases and desks. Often these items have been made to compliment the new kitchen, bedroom dressing room or study.
