Reviews
Beautiful and wonderful - just needed the right stimulus
Well done Home Instead Reading - skydiving to raise money for the Altzheimers Society
fabulous invention to help reduce/prevent dehydration and its associated complications
a big thumbs up to Pets at Home Swindon - they've gone dementia friendly :)
if you are caring for someone for dementia does this sounds like you? not enough time to sleep/rest/do things for yourself?
this can lead to frustration/resentment and then guilt for feeling that way - talking to someone without fear of judgement - what a relief
if that sounds like something you need give me a call now
fancy a game of walking netball or rugby? what a great idea for those who cant/prefer not to run
there are loads of walking sports events in Wiltshire - and the oldest participant is 83!
Really pleased to be at Hathaway to deliver my second Dementia Friends talk to the staff here!
Hathaway are committed to being a dementia friendly organisation and support to their community
This is one of the key messages from the Altzheimers Society that we share at a dementia friends session
There are 4 more - I wonder if you know what they are?
Love this
Who loves a good read or listen? This is my current listen - what’s got your attention right now?

Celebrating is so important!
Really good info from my friends at Home Instead
Please check in on neighbours, loved ones and make sure our elderly folks are ok during this heatwave
how absolutely fabulous! beauty treatments for ladies with dementia in care homes - a bit of pampering and physical interaction goes a long way!
it is not uncommon for someone with dementia to wander - maybe to find their childhood home, another location that is familiar to them or to try and find someone
technology is being used now to try and help with this challenge - without depriving the person of their liberty - what do you think of them?
Definitely worth looking into if you are a Carer in any capacity
whens's the last time you sat with someone over a cuppa and with care and interest really found out how you both were?
connection and interaction with other humans in the real world (not fb land) can make a huge difference but sometimes its hard to come by
Ruby Wax has started Frazzled Cafe - a facilitated meet up group where REAL conversations can take place - love it
