I visited the store earlier today. Sale item 70 percent off but no price ticket.
Women's wear dept. The supervisor slumped over to help and I asked her to check the price of the item. A cotton ladies sleeveless shirt, plain.
£16.99 I was told.
This would have made the original price over £50.!!???
So I queried the sale price and was told it was 70 per cent off, NOT ALL OF IT!
The other sales girl was cheerful and helpful.
Unfortunately I wasn't served by her.
I have worked all over the holiday season and have managed to treat my customers with respect, not make them feel stupid and unwelcome.
Very poor service and attitude from one staff member means I will go to Portsmouth next time.

Very nice place to shop

Myself and my sister-in-law visited Fareham Debenhams on 2 December. Debenhams has always been one of my favourite stores as it has a wonderful atmosphere and fragrance that welcomes you through the door. I said this to my sister-in-law as we arrived yesterday and were extremely touched when the store manager caught up with us and presented us both with a bag of Clarines goodies!! Wow what a lovely thought, made our day. Top marks for that store manager! 😊

Staff are wonderful and there is always a bargain to be had
