My lovely studio in Greatmoor has seen lots of visitors over the past 6 years, who have often commented on how welcoming and comfortable the space is, however it is now looking a little tired and ready for a refresh. There are still a few weeks of long hours ahead as I battle through peak bridal season, but the refurb is planned for mid September. During the refit, the studio will be closed for 1 week and for any Autumn brides not already booked in I would advise you arrange an appointment as soon as possible to take the weeks closure into account. Some of you may be aware that I worked on a re-brand earlier this year and the refit is the next stage, along with some exciting changes and new products on the way. Bespoke dress to perfectly match Mummys wedding gown. The dress has been designed to compliment the brides blush pink theme and is beautifully Co-ordinated with matching shoulder detail which was salvaged from the offcuts after Mummys alterations and a ruffle style tutu underskirt.

The obsession with the back of your dresses continues! My OCD kicks in when a zip does not quite meet and I will always suggest the addition of a handmade closure that compliments your dress and gives the most perfect finish. #allinthedetails

Destination..... Italy 🇮🇹💕 Alterations complete and the dress is now carefully packed. Looking forward to sharing photos from the big day as the dress is sensational and the venue looks breathtaking! Never underestimate the importance of the back of your dress. One of my jobs as your chosen seamstress is to be honest and ensure all the areas you cannot see are fitted perfectly. 360° perfection is the aim !

Some requests are small such as adding a belt or shortening a strap, whereas some are much more complex. Wow.... what a journey this dress has been on! Each layer re-drafted to turn it from A line to fishtail and the addition of a new corset back for a perfect fit. A stunning dress has been created. One of a kind x

I will always aim to get your illusion backs as smooth as possible. This dress was carefully cut at the fitting today, around the motifs and then re-positioned to eliminate any wrinkles. All pinned and now ready for hand sewing. Another bride once again putting all her trust in me and my scissors! 💕

Bespoke design & alterations.
A stunning transformation is underway for another bride. The dress has had considerable fit changes, including adding a corset and removing one layer of the ivory tulle to replace with a subtle blush pink layer. A stunning cathedral length veil is also being designed along with 2 adorable little bridesmaids dresses.... Perfectly co-ordinated. The bride had a vision of how she wanted things to look and it is now taking shape beautifully 💕

One of the most popular requests at the studio is to add straps or sleeves. A subtle way to soften the shoulder area which can often feel exposed in a strapless dress. This lovely shot from a fitting last week shows the delicate lace strap pinned in place and ready to be handsewn. The plan was originally for a standard over the shoulder style strap, but after experimenting with different options, we both loved the off the shoulder look. Stunning 💕

2020 diary now open for consultations. The last few weeks have been incredibly busy and sadly I have not been able to accommodate some of you wishing to make a booking. The amazing pics keep on coming. Joanne looked absolutely stunning in her gown and these photos captured the magic of the day perfectly! This beautiful and classic gown had several alterations carried out at the studio, including re-shaping the neck, Shortening the layers and attaching a sparkly belt. Flowers arranging workshop
Another wonderful hand-tied flower bouquet workshop took place on the upper floor of the studio this weekend. Think this may have been my favourite selection of flowers to date, as Peonies have always been my No 1 flower 💕 Thank you Cheshire Flowers for another great session....
