Hello fellow cruise enthusiast! My name is Declan, I live in the Maiden city of Derry which is located in the North West region of Northern Ireland, here we are very close to the Irish border with the beautiful Inishowen peninsula on our door step. I am married and have two kids, a boy and a girl.

I left school with a real desire to explore the world and what it had to offer. With no job and limited funds, I decided on a career in the travel industry. This was my ticket to see the world and what it had to offer. My desire to travel and explore was eventually realised when I set off on my first trip abroad to the Costa del Sol staying in a friend’s apartment in Fuengirola, and what a trip it was. This was the start of my travel ambitions, which has continued since that first trip. Since then I have broadened my horizons and travelled just a little bit further than the good old Costa del Sol…. I’ve been lucky enough to visit the likes of Australia, USA, North Africa and Europe to name but a few. My first cruise holiday was with my wife on board the NCL Gem for our ‘Honeymoon’, well what an introduction to cruising. We both instantly fell for cruising and what it had to offer . The food, the entertainment and our beautifully appointed stateroom … we couldn’t have asked for more. I have visited numerous ships since then and cruised on a few too. So check out places I’ve been and ships I’ve been on and were possible I will always give my personal feedback on my experiences.

If i’m not travelling, I can be found at my local CrossFit gym (box) or spending time with my wife and kids.
