The boys at dean's garage always provide a great service. I've bought 3 bikes from them all worked soundly. When I first bought a new road bike I have no real idea what I needed, Chris helped me choose and his advice was perfect, right size, right price, right spec. I have my road bike serviced with them and its runs like a dream, 6000 miles and still going fine (they've done such a good service looking after my bike I have no excuse with my wife to buy a new one, dam it !)

Total rip off over charges, charges for things that don't need doing (true) but not only that doesn't do the jobs which you've paid for properly (fact).

I won't use again or recommend.

I recommend using elsewhere as don't value their customers just see them as a value if they can take advantage of you they will & i agree with some of the negative comments left by others.

Think i'll just go back to Evans

You give quotes & then don't do work properly rip off your reply is rubbish & only trying to make yourself look better! I won't be bringing my bike back :0( & to be honest you don't really care because you've already taken the money, only happens once & the amount you got off me could have paid for a new bike & when I mentioned this in shop all I was told at time was that my opinion :0( & will & have taken custom elsewhere.

Support local lol Customers be vigilant

Been going for years, helped me pick out a new bike with all the trimmings recently and gave me an excellent deal. Very friendly and helpful staff, with gear suited for casual to serious riders.

Rented a hybrid bike in great condition at a reasonable price and used it to cycle to Brighton from London with a mate. Had a great day out thanks for this affordable bike here and felt very safe as the bike was in great condition! Thanks

visited this bike shop with my 2 grandchildren and was really impressed with the service.

I like this bicycle sales and repair business more and more. They do an excellent thorough service - but above all they are clear and logical communicators who really know about bikes, so you can understand what they are telling you and - if my experience is anything to go by - you can trust what they say. I took my mountain bike in for a couple of minor repairs - one of which turned out to be trivial and was done for free whilst I waited. Next I went back in with my road bike which needed a load of work. It is now like a new bike. At every stage they were very clear and upfront about the costs and why things needed doing. Excellent.

I was recommended Deans by a mate about 5 years ago and told to speak to Chris.. I bought a bike...the service was brilliant, the staff knowledgeable and after sales again with the free bike service was excellent. I took the same bike in today as it was a bit battered up and tired from commuting, off road and general neglect. They did a really good job again in getting it back to its optimum performance, its clean, tight and running smooth...I would highly recommend Deans above the chain stores for buying, servicing or just advice on biking. Great staff and good service.

Deens Garage is without question the best bike shop I have ever used. As a regular cyclist, Chris the owner went out of the way on more than one occasion to make sure my bikes were fixed when needed - even working after hours to make sure I was up and running.

He also has packed and sent many bikes I've sold - and fitted many odds and ends not purchased at the shop without any hassle and has offered honest, impartial advice on equipment and bikes.

The shop stocks a great array of both bikes, parts and accessories - a great selection of all the latest lights being a particular highlight.

I have recently moved away from the area, Deens are the one thing I miss the most, a really great LBS that deserves every credit.
