Deep Water Solo At The Quay

The UK's only climbing wall on water returns to Exeter this August Bank Holiday. Deep Water Solo Exeter takes place from 28th to 31st August 2015.

Deep Water Soloing returns to Exeter for the third time this August Bank Holiday weekend. The 'wall on water' will return to Exeter's canal basin for the four day event staged by the team at the Quay Climbing Centre. The awesome Entre-Prises UK designed wall will return with a few tweaks to the overhang and new routes set by the brilliant team behind Blokfest - Gaz Parry, Mike Langley, Ben West and Gav Symonds. Routes will start at V3 /4 and work up to V14 - expect a few added features and a show stopping finale to equal last year's!

The wall sits across the canal basin in full view of the massive Piazza Terracina event and spectator area - with 3 competitors climbing simultaneously the visual spectacle and excitement is totally unique! Expect great climbing and some fantastic splashes!

This year the competition will open on Friday 26th August just after 4pm with the Under 16 boys and girls qualifiers. Saturday 27th will see the Open Male and Female qualifiers, with the Semis and Finals taking place on Sunday 28th. Once again a team of sponsored athletes will be joining the event - but this time they will be invited to join at the Qualifying stage.

This year we are releasing tickets in two cycles. Take advantage of our early bird rate - tickets go on sale from 16th May to 16th June. A second cycle of tickets will be released at the end of June.
