Job Advert – Apprentice Service Engineer
Delden Cranes Ltd are looking for a highly-motivated individual to learn from and work alongside our experienced workforce, servicing, maintaining, repairing and rigging our extensive fleet of Crawler cranes. The job of an apprentice service engineer will involve working outside in all weathers, both in the yard and workshop at Delden cranes ltd, and on various sites nationwide. Responsibilities:... · As an apprentice service engineer, you will be expected to have an active involvement within your learning and education and apply what you learn into the workplace.
· Attend college as required and complete a recognised apprenticeship framework to a high standard, ensuring and maintaining the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others in the workplace.
· Ensure all documentation is completed and on time
Competencies: · Grade A-C in maths and English
· Have an interest or background in engineering
· Self- motivated, enthusiastic team player, keen to learn, smart and well presented, a good communicator at all levels with a flexible approach to work and the ability to use own initiative, able to demonstrate ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment, Good problem solving aptitude with an eye for detail and appreciation of quality.
