Demilitarise Education (dED /@dED_UCATION) is a community & guide for modern day peacemakers, working to see universities break their ties with the global arms trade and instead champion peace. Demilitarise Education (dED /dED_UCATION) was set up with the intention of not just seeing universities divest from the global arms trade and demilitarise, but for those investments and activities to be redirected into peace building projects. dED has three core pillars which together create a holistic approach to university demilitarisation, these are community, media & research. Our objectives are to build a world wide community of peacemakers and support their actions toward university demilitarisation. We want to be the first peace organisation with 1 million subscribers on YouTube using media to educate and motivate the global peace force; we will create a high level model for demilitarisation which we will seek university commitment too.
