Denham Aerodrome

Denham Aerodrome is a fore runner of Panshanger Aerodrome (in my opinion). Today was my first visit; the aerodrome is much bigger than I expected. The business class jets park on one side with the Control Tower and the Biggles Restaurant, while on the other side, one half is Hangared for Helicopters and the part next to the cafe is for light aircraft. This aerodrome is similar to Stapleford Aerodrome and is highly popular to the aviation community. From the cafe the runway is too far away but planes can be seen landing and taking off; the helicopters make up for this as they are closer. The runway is closer from the business jet side but the ambience of the aerodrome is clearly on the side of the 1942 era hangar and the modern cafe which the couple who work there do a fantastic job. My personal score for both the Aerodrome and the Cafe is 10/10.

Fantastic school, great place to get your ppl, cal and ratings, professional instructors and are friendly, sociable, I will continue to fly with this school way after my ppl, I have made so many friends at TPC,

The best place to learn to fly Helicopters. HQ great team.

I have flown from here for the last 15 years. A great place to fly from, and within very easy reach of London. Free parking and a great cafe as well. Learn to fly at the Pilot Centre!
