My wild rockery, haven’t had much time for gardening and this is the result! However , on a positive some bee friendly wild flowers have come through 🐝🐝🐝

Hot and hard work today inspecting the bees and carrying boxes of honey ready for extraction.

Helped a fellow beekeeper with a swarm of bees today managed to save some which had dropped into water 🐝 🐝

First major inspection of hives today. Looking good, some queen's found, some hiding. Busy collecing nectar and pollen.

My new sting proof bee suit, excited to try, hope it works 🙂🐝🐝. Bees are busy today with warmer temperatures.

We are at the lovely Kilnsey Show today, lots to see and do, lots to eat and drink. Summer Honey with a chunk of comb, fresh off the hive. Delicious

Latest news today from Public Health England and NICE - Doctors advised to promote honey for coughs rather than antibiotics. An old fashioned remedy for the modern world. We have always recognised the benefits of honey, as do our existing customers. When making a honey and lemon drink, we advise using warm to hot water, not boiling.
