Derby Flyfishers

Fly Fishing club, based around Derby, who meet once a month (first Wednesday of every month). Regular outings on Midland reservoirs, with help and advice on all aspects of fly fishing and fly tying. Novice to expert all welcome.

We are small group of Fly Fishing enthusiasts who meet once a month (first Wednesday of every month) at the Royal Oak Public House, Ockbrook, Derbyshire DE72 3SE.

We have various ages, experience and skill levels within the group and we are more than happy to share our experiences and knowledge with potential new members, so come and have a drink and a chat in comfortable surroundings as a warm welcome awaits you.

At the meetings we discuss general Fly Fishing issues and various related subjects, on the night prize raffles, we also arrange regular club fly fishing trips & outings.

Our club members are enthusiastic fly tiers and we offer fly tying tuition and demonstration for those keen to expand their knowledge and hone their fly tying skills.
