Derby Serenaders

Page for the Derby Serenaders, founded in 1936 and still going strong. Sit down wind band playing a range of music from Glenn Miller to Lady GaGa and everything inbetween.

Some of the feedback i have received in the last few days. . . . .

I just played mine, and it really made me smile, there was a couple of pictures of our band there, and it made me think what a wonderful bunch of people we are, from all different stages in life and yet I know you all care and are my friends. I just thought I would tell you all you are super special to me and I'm so glad to be a part of the band.

I love all of you lot. I really look forward to Tuesday nights banging me drums and surrounded by a lovely bunch of loons

When I started band last year, I was in a really bad place, and I can honestly say that band has made me better than I could ever imagine possible.

I've only just started coming along to play with the band but I can already tell what a lovely group of people you are. I'm enjoying playing my saxophone again so much and I feel very lucky to be playing alongside you. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.

I was in a miserable grumpy band where everything was just too much trouble. You are all so committed giving so much time for the good of the band you’re just all so brilliant x
