Did you know it is National #VolunteerWeek this week?
During The Jungle Book in Spring over 15 volunteers, who all have a passion for British Sign Language, gave up their time to join our frontline team to provide Derby Theatre’s audience with the best accessible and welcoming service.
We want to say a massive THANK YOU to all of them who played an integral part during this performance and now these volunteers are now a regular part of our frontline team and provide support... to our staff and audiences during a whole range of different events.
However we're now looking to expand our volunteers to help make Derby Theatre the most accessible it can be for our upcoming events include Deafinitely Theatre’s Horrible Histories: Dreadful Death and during Departure Lounge Festival.
Do you have a passion for BSL (learning levels 1 and upwards) and want to join our pool of BSL Volunteers?
