So, having a client call you shortly after eight on a Monday morning and inviting you to shoot their wedding for them makes for a brilliant start to the week. Goodmorning all, I hope your week start off in an equally fantastic fashion.

Went along to the Edward Lewis wedding fayre at the Park Inn last weekend and met lots of new people, both suppliers and wedding couples. Had a good time, and now getting quite a few callbacks through which is most gratifying. Looking forward to seeing what the next couple of weeks brings. :)

So, I spent this morning going round my local area and talking to some other wedding suppliers, and passing on contact details, flyers cards and suchlike. On my way back home I happened to pass this fantastic wedding bus outside the local church - I had to stop and grab a shot of it. A brilliant, quirky touch to any wedding. Fantastic.

Derek was wonderful to have as a photographer. I normally hate being photographed, but he made everything so relaxed and fun, and yet he was really professional, and the photos are just so amazing. He has a real sense of style - I never thought I could look like that. He knew just what to suggest to make the photographs right for me - I never felt like I was "just another client".

I would recommend him to anyone.
