To protect against the spread of COVID-19 our engineers will wear disposable overalls, face mask, gloves and shoe covers to help prevent spreading germs from one property to another. From today Vinshire Plumbing and Heating will no longer be carrying out gas servicing for Derwent Living. We are working to honour appointments previously made by Vinshire between now and 3 April through an alternative contractor - Robert Heath Heating Limited.
All visits to properties will be carried out in line with the government's guidance on coronavirus. Our contractors will also ask questions about self-isolation and symptoms on arrival and may wear disposable overalls, face mask, gloves and shoe covers to help prevent spreading germs from one property to another. They may also ask you to stay in a different room during visits.

The Police are reminding everyone to beware of scams during the coronavirus outbreak. Always ask to see identification and only open the door to people you trust. If someone knocks on your door and offers to get shopping or other items for you and you do not know them, do not hand over any cash or bank cards. A genuine person from the health service or a utility company will have identification and will be happy for you to check it. Due to the impact of the coronavirus outbreak our repairs team is now only responding to requests for emergency repairs. An emergency repair is any problem that could be a security risk or cause harm to you, another person or to your property.
