Yesterday we held 3 beautiful weddings.. we are sending all 3 of our Bride and Grooms lots of Congratulations on their special day. 👰🤵❤

Well what can I say. Just had my wedding at Derwent manor and has been utterly first class service! Leanne was great seeing me through to the week prior then handled by Ryan the last few days who I simply love to bits and went above and beyond. What a great team you have at Derwent manor and Catherine the receptionist, great job guys thanks so much. From the new Mr and Mrs Johnson!

We stayed here from Friday to Sunday, and I have to say it was one of the best places I have stayed. We stayed in Oak cottage, everything we needed was there...

we attended our friends wedding on the Saturday, everything was perfect Ryan did a fabulous job..

The hotel staff, have to be the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever come across.



I loved every minute of my stay here and will certainly be coming back.

We had a two nights dinner bed and breakfast stay last week it was recommended to us and we were delighted to say it met our expectations .food excellent and staff very friendly we would definitely recommend and hope to return .Thank you to all the staff.

Third visit in a year to this hotel plus more before. It's been great to see the improvements that have been made throughout.

New bar is big improvement and compliments all the other work done.

Staff are all very pleasant and helpful throughout the hotel.

Food is delicious.

Porridge made to order is really good however portion was huge.My husnand had eaten cereal,cooked breakfast and was on cheese before I finished the "soup tureen" of porridge.Didn't need lunch after that.

Swimming pool is excellent- good temperature.

Think we've seen all we want in the area but will return to see the new reception area.

The perfect place to unwind and relax in the countryside - so many reasons to book this venue for whatever your occasion, a romantic getaway or a base to spend time with the family. The food is great but be sure to leave some room the next morning at breakfast - it’s brilliant, get booked up - you deserve it!

Stayed on a Groupon deal. The room was really modern, spacious with great tv and lovely bathroom. Absolutely immaculate and fantastic black out curtains. Our 3 course evening meal was absolutely delicious, especially the salmon and the deserts. Breakfast was a great, varied continental offering with buffet style full English. The pool was lovely and warm and all staff were very professional and friendly. Could not fault our stay. Excellent value for money! We'll be back.

So. I had originally booked for only the Sat (7th july) in the hotel for the flash sale. My Mr to be surprised me by booking the Fri (in an anex room) also. What a fantastic weekend we have had. The rooms and food were absolutely beautiful (massive shout out to the chefs) but it was most certainly the staff that did it for us... couldn't have a nicer bunch of workers! We now know for sure we made the best decision on our wedding venue next year! It has made us even more excited for our day ��thank you all for making our 1st stay perfect! Bring on Aug 19 ��

My husband and I attended the first Steak and Sax night. The restaurant had a lovely ambience, decorated to a high standard but still very relaxed. The staff were friendly and approachable and couldn't do enough to accommodate us. The drinks were served perfectly and there was a good selection which were reasonably priced. The steak was the best I've ever had, I haven't stopped thinking about it all day, ha!! We will definetly be back, we travelled 30mins from where we live so might stay over and try the accommodation. Thankyou for a lovely evening.

My daughter chose the Derwent Manor for her wedding on the 6/7/18, the food was top class the staff helpful and polite everything from start to finish ran to perfection, anybody thinking of a wedding here would be a fool not to.

Just stayed overnight with my husband for my birthday and loved it! The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We got a really good deal with a 3 course meal included plus breakfast so didn't know what to expect really. We weren't disappointed with anything. Loved the room, the restaurant and the bar. Didn't make it to the pool unfortunately but made use of the modern gym. Would definitely recommend it!

Just stayed here for 2 nights as part of the Hemingway/Johnson bridal party and I would just like to say what an amazing job from start to finish! Nothing was a problem for the staff, a big thank you to Megan on reception for sorting the room situation. Another staff member who stood out was Ryan, he worked hard all day ensuring that the bridal party had everything they needed and also sorted any minor hiccups all with a smile on his face, Ryan is an absolute pleasure and an asset to your team and will defo be recommending your venue for future weddings.

Just had a fab stay over with friends to celebrate a special birthday. We couldn't have chosen better for relaxation and quality for such a reasonable price. The meal must have been one of the best I've had and the staff were all very professional and friendly. Hope to return and will certainly recommend to all.

I can’t rate this hotel enough it’s absolutely beautiful! We had a one night DBB stay at the weekend and everything was perfect from start to finish - we didn’t want to leave! (It took a trip to the farm on the way home to persuade my 3 year old) The room was faultless - clean, modern and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at a hotel! Our daughter couldn’t get enough of the park and pool then our 3 course meal in prego was delicious I couldn’t believe what we got for our money! Breakfast was the same such a huge variety and all so tasty! All the staff we spoke to were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. All in all a fabulous stay we can’t wait to return!

Food in the restaurant is beautiful, we find ourselves up there quite often just for a meal and a nice drink, the hotel is beautiful and the surroundings are perfect! Staff are always really friendly! Looks like it’s turning out to be our local spot for food and drinks!!

Fantastic evening last night for my friends hen night. Great entertainment from Shelley Stevens who had everyone up dancing, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was amazing! We stayed in Rowan cottage where we’ve stayed before and we it is beautiful.

Easter Sunday and my birthday so my treat was lunch at Derwent manor it was so good loved dinning room food was to die for service spot on couldn't fault it 4 in the party all enjoyed it no complaints beautiful hotel can't wait to go again

Absolutely AMAZING! Spent the weekend celebrating my 30th and I am one of the lucky people who works for a company the owner. Absolutely made my weekend being with friends taking in all the amazing views from the willow cottage. The cottage was stunning! Such a beautiful cottage! Would just like to thank all the staff and Dannii the waiter she made our night! Such a lovely girl and customer service was second to non! The food was outstanding and we had a lovely surprise at the end! Will be stopping again soon!

5 stars plus - this hotel was amazing staff were lovely nothing was too much trouble we stayed for 5 days and could have easily stayed for longer fantastic food and facilities family room was very spacious we will definitely be back

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds, Pizza here is to die for...only thing that lets this hotel down is the leisure facilities, no steam room... I have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world and this hotel is a refreshing change to mostly below average hotels in the UK.
