Yesterday, I went to Standfast & Barracks to look at the new range of lawn fabrics, they are fantastic! if you like Liberty you'll love the amazing designs, from retro vintage styles, to traditionals with a modern twist, to really cute designs, I am going back with my daugther to to get some of it before they sell out!

Yesterday I toured the Standfast & Barracks factory as part of English Heritage open days. The tour was brilliant, our guides knew everything, and I left knowing that I'd seen where the magic happens. I then went into the shop and came home with a huge bag of fabric. There was loads of choice and discounts galore, who doesn't want William Morris fabric for a bargain! It's a 140 mile round trip so I don't visit often but will definitely keep going once or twice a year.

Visited last Thursday, and I could have bought METRES! So much gorgeous fabric!



The velvets are lovely, as is the Emma Bridgewater, especially Pomegranates.



I live a long way away but hope to visit again.

This is my favourite shop. With the best and most helpful staff.

A big thanks to lily who always helps me out. And also to mark who's patience is outstanding!

The staff was delightful and helpful, both via email and telephone, the fabric is lovely and the bargain price was amazing. Shipping to the US was not at all costly and my order arrived far more quickly than I had any expectation it would.

The staff could not be more helpful ,the manager Mark , nothing is too much trouble a big thank you for sorting and despatching my two rolls of fabric to France which I got yesterday.Excellent customer service, wish every shop was like yours!

The staff are soooooo friendly and helpful, there is always a large selection of gorgeous, top quality fabrics and the price is unbeatable. I only wish I could move the shop closer to where I live! But, it is definatly worth the 120 mile round trip.

The second you open the door it's like entering heaven ! The smell of fabric embraces you ! Love this place always a happy welcome from all of the lovely helpful staff too ! Highly recommended x

My fabric just arrived in the post. It is gorgeous - new lawn range!! Congratulations on producing your own designs! Brilliant service via telephone sales. Can’t wait to visit the shop in person to see all the designs.

My daughter and I loved this shop which we found on the last day of a holiday in the area - and we are planning another break soon!

I LOVE this place, real bargains, and lovely people that are soooo helpful. I got great advice for my living room curtains and they cut the fabric just right so the patterns all matched. We've made curtains for the living room, master bedroom, kids bedroom and the playroom. My home feels special.

First visit of many. Take my money Standfast, this is going to be a regular thing with so many beautiful Liberty and William Morris fabrics at such great prices. ���

A friend and I went on our first visit yesterday and the staff were so friendly and helpful and there is lots of lovely fabrics to chose to suit all taste and budgets!! Will definitely visit again.

A big thank you to the lovely staff in the shop who were so helpful on Monday. Talked through pattern repeats, didn't mind me unrolling things - I did put them back! - and were thoroughly professional as well as friendly and kind. I am so excited with my new fabric and will be back for the next room.
