'The highs & lows of landscaping'.... and this garden literally had plenty of them!!. Removal of tonnes of clay from a sloping back garden through extremely tight, twisting access, then giant rockery pieces sent in the opposite direction to retain the ground. The creation of a more useable lawn area and shiny new patio make this garden a pleasure to relax in on a Summer's day. Planting from Stanton Nurseries softens the stone and completes the project. 😎

'Bringing the Inside outside' .... This cool and contemporary garden is the perfect place to relax and take in those sunny afternoons.
Once a sloping site with a soulless, regular patio... the kitchen and dining area now leads outside to a beautiful composite deck and the level lawn beyond. The deckboard shades are complimented by a natural stone patio to the side of the house.
Screening from overlooking properties is provided with semi-mature bamboo planting, whilst after dark, the garden boasts plant uplighting and recessed deck lighting, making it the perfect spot for entertaining.

'The Big Dig!' 12 builders skips later and we had gone from a steeply sloping garden to a lovely flat site. We constructed this beautiful natural stone wall to provide a strong barrier to retain the clay bank behind. The Client now has a large patio and low maintenance garden to relax in and enjoy the sunshine.

'Fifty Shades Darker Slate'.... A slightly more affordable Chinese copper slate used within a garden in Netherseal. Not much sun blessed the site, which made slate the Ideal choice for the patio. An Intricate design complimented by new lawn and border areas with turf and plants supplied by Stanton Nurseries

'Fifty Shades of Slate'.... Installed in Whittington near Lichfield, this beautiful Brazillian slate provides a 'cooling' contrast to all the brickwork found within the garden. This premium product is an excellent choice for a shady site and will not turn green as quickly as a softer natural stone.

A large water garden construction in Rolleston-on-Dove. A meandering stream crafted from large natural rockery stone gives way to a large, Irregularly shaped Koi pond. An existing summerhouse provides the perfect housing for the ponds Intricate new filter system. Plants from Stanton Nurseries complete the feature.

Another Winter, another sloping site... and a challenging client brief to meet. A large natural stone seating area Installed with easy access to the lower lawn level of the garden. A stunning new timber garage and driveway area allow safe off-road parking.

Sloping gardens don't always have to be problematic - here we harnessed the site into functional terraces, forming contemporary lawn areas and a large natural stone seating area.

'Cool, Calm and Collected' .... An intricate, low maintenance garden design with a 'contemporary Mediterranean feel' constructed in Rolleston-on-Dove Summer 2009.

Curved decking with ambient garden lighting help produce a more 'Continental feel' within this project from 2010. The hot tub surrounded by architectural palms and bamboo from Stanton Nurseries help complete this transformation

Getting ready for Summer.... a flowing natural stone seating area in Barton-under-Needwood. Subtle differences within each flagstone mean that patio paving doesn't have to be dull, but instead transfer the quality and style of indoor floor surfaces to the outside. Complimented by a new lawn with turf supplied from Stanton Nurseries.
